  • The Bloke's Mother is on her way tomorrow...

    We have

    Cleaned windows in DD's room
    Made bed with posh linen
    Removed cat from posh linen
    Placed bedspread over posh linen
Removed cat from gap in bedspread and replaced on top
    Vacuumed bedroom
    Cleaned bookcase
    Cleaned DD's stereo
    Cleaned guitars
    Dusted keyboard
    Cleaned tambour
Hung cardboard cutout star from ceiling

Relocated 3 tons of stuffed toys and their associated dust bunnies
Apologised ([STRIKE]swore[/STRIKE]) at cat disturbed sleeping amongst said stuffed toys

Placed all plants in bath for a little drink

Cleaned kitchen units, kickboards, doors, surfaces, hob
Stuffed tupperware down back of tumble dryer

    We still need to:

    Clean bathroom floor
Put some of my makeup away
    Wipe sink
    Wipe loo
    Clean mirrors

    Change litter tray

De-gibble stuff from coffee table, drawers and dining table
    Vacuum

    and then tomorrow,

    Clean TV, electricals, etc
Spray a bit more polish around
Stick some flowers in DD's room
Swish a damp mop around hard floors (The Bloke believes that the floor doesn't count when cleaning a room)

You can tell DD is away... :D

I'm sure hex will point out that there is a rule that says you should never move a sleeping cat... so the ironing will have to wait :p

and a rule about not ironing tea towels:p
    or matching pegs:p:p
or do housework when the sun is shining:p:p:p

I've done really well with the paperwork - 15 minutes a day this week I think is in order as my decluttering will move on to day 2 tomorrow.

Kids being rounded up for 15 minutes hard labour in the garden if they want h/m chicken nuggets for dinner.

Jojo~~ her visit seems to have focused your mind!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Valli~~ get a water pistol if you haven't got one, and from now when the kitten does something /climbs on something it shouldn't, squirt it, and get the message through to Jinks, it will only take a few weeks, well it always has done with mine.

'Happy' to report the smoke alarm with its new battery works!:p

    Dinner being cooked
    Cat fed
Ebay items that have bids gathered up, ready to pack tomorrow

Finally finished running about today.....DS2's eye sight is the same, thank goodness because he's started to not wear his glasses. The woman thinks somebody has said something to him.....DD only has one more week of S&L and then they will see her again in October.....Hubby's meds have been upped so hopefully it will settle him abit. :D

Now i really need to sort the boys room out, DS2 has lost a pair of glasses and a catapillar in his room.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Mummyslittleboy: not cheeky at all!! If they were presents all you have to do is make sure you don't give them back to the original giver - lol!!

Been flying away today. Feels good!
