De-cluttering plans sound great Hun :T:T

But ...ahem...your nephews and nieces would like to point out to their Auntie Taxi that they personally are quite happy at present (especially in view of imminent female totty arriving :(:D) and therefore, thank you kindly, but don;t wish to be "de-cluttered" quite yet.......
    :rotfl::rotfl:

Glad you;re doing OK - stay strong Hun and big hugs.........

PS Beechie has said he is very happy to donate his fur for your wig if needs be :rotfl::rotfl:..(.unfortunately he is a rather vibrant red so I have thanked him kindly on your behalf and said that you have already made other arrangements ;))

Sounds good - so far first cycle appears to have had a few downs - but perhaps not quite so many as may have been expected. Keeping fingers and paws crossed here that the staus quo continues!!

P.S. I think Beechie is a bit relieved as he has a fear of scissors!!!!

    Xmas Saver!
Your going great guns, can't blame you about the gold, I kept stuff for sentimental reasons and all it did was collect dust. DD had a clear out of her jewellery boxes, mum gave her couple broken chains, I gave her couple small rings, she got rid of some christening jewelery, her words were I'm nearly 8, (she was christened at 6 weeks), and I haven't wore it. Told her not to get to exicted, expecting about £40 but she got £153.

Good luck with the decluttering, need to redo my room, but this food poisioning bug just knocked me for 6, had a lazy day, dd went to her friends I went back to bed for an hr, next thing knew it was 5pm!! Blame it on the tabs, one of the side effects is sleep, only got a couple of days left. At least they've done the trick xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Morning Taxi and all! Good to hear you have a little energy, Taxi, and I think its a great idea to use some of it on decluttering - I find its given me so much quality of life, just not having so much *stuff* around. In the new house, tho its smaller, it will be even better, because the living room will have much less in it - the desk will be upstairs, and the table will be in the kitchen :j

But you're right about the scale of things - start with a drawer. Even the little tiny things add up, and when you can *see* what you've got and what you don't need, it becomes easier and easier. I have to confess, taking photos of stuff makes it easier too - I have a Liverpool mug that I feel great affection for, but its chipped, just where you drink from - a photo, and its gone :)

Hope your day is a nice one.

    Hi Taxi,

Sorry I haven't been around much recently - life is very busy! DH and I had a pretty lazy day yesterday which was very needed.

Just thinking about your gold. I sold some a couple of weeks ago. I have the number of the company - you could give them a call to work out what the going rate is for the scrap. I'll dig out the details anD pm you.

    Hope today is a goodun!

I think a drawer a day is a great method, means you achieve something and dont put the house into chaos (which is what I did, there were piles everywhere) and you do need to take it easy.

Hope the sun is shining x

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

    Morning all....hope everyone is ok.

The sun is shining here and I've not been up long. Thanks for all popping by.

Today I plan to start on the great declutter....I will start with the filing cabinet as that will be the basis of storing the vast amount of paperwork that needs storing. At the moment there is all sorts of stuff in it or on it.

The whole house needs cleaning...hoovering,dusting etc so DD2 will do that tonight while I deposit myself in the bath for a long soak.

Slowly but surely will be the way with this one I think.

URG...thanks for the offer of the number...I read Martins guide and he states the best online one..so will go to jewellers armed with their prices and take it from there. They update daily about 9.45am.

Mum2one....glad you are starting to feel better...can't have been much fun for you.

Karma...the energy is not much but I do need to start doing some productive stuff so what better than decluttering in readiness for my new exciting life.

    Lucielle...have a good day yourself

    RMC....chaos...def don't want that....lol

Hope everyone has a good day x
