Yes be careful of people with newspapers with holes cut into them too. A friend of mine used to do that with boys she fancied. She had watched an old film where the detective wore a mac and leaned against walls or sat on benches reading newspapers when stalking suspects so thought it was a good idea. We failed in out attempts to tell her that as it was the 70's a teenage girl in a long mac following someone reading a newspaper with holes cut in it so she could see where she was going stood out somewhat. And as the boy concerned already thought she was barking (well she did bother with me and my friends after all) this idea was not likely to endear her to him.
Glad things are going well for you.0 -

Had the giggles re pickle in Blackpool with a rain mac and wet paper with soggy holes in plaintively shouting Taxi, Taxi...:rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Excellent. There was a massive great cloud over the whole north west this morning on the tv weather forecast, so I'm hoping it isn't raining right now in Blackpool itself, sweetie. Glad to hear you have a bit more energy.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

My macmillan t-shirt arrived today. The girl that I am training with is doing a marathon next month to raise funds for them too.
