thanks Lula..it is really lovely spending lots of time with the family and just being able to do stuff..still not up to full strength yet but am managing a bit of housework and a bit of walking not very much by other peoples standards but a lot more than I could manage a month ago.

Thanks Z you are right ...I just get frustrated with myself but as the DR said it can take up to two years to recover..0

Sounds as if you are having a great time Taxi which is just what you deserve
And you are doing so well on the money front you are definitely an inspiration.
A little blip on the weight but you know what you did and thats what counts and when you in it for the long haul you need a few treats along the way but just think how good it was to buy those clothes in a smaller size.
Happy Easter to you and all your lovely family

He's also a very lucky boy as DH bought him a new bike yesterday....DH convinced him the day before to have his stabilisers removed from his old bike (he was very scared to try but DH gave him a spanner to help remove them and this helped convince him...lol)...and after half an hour he could ride it all be it a bit wobbly...so grandad bought him a new bike yesterday but he was scared to try it so grandad decided to take JJ to the indoor skate bike to show him what can be done on a bike...as soon as left the place JJ decided he would like to ride his new bike and hey presto he could ride it...lovely how DH can persuade him of these things..lol
Hope everyone is having a good weekend...what lovely weather we're having x
Taxi your OH sounds like a fantastic grandad and so sensitive to JJ's needs

you too Dizzy...love the picture...you're right he's a great grandad and husband I wouldn't swap him.
Lucielle ...pretty busy in Blackpool at the moment...think the weather will have helped.
Taxi is very excited as she's going on an adventure at the end of May..my SIL who lives in London phoned to say she was going to a festival in Hebden and it sounded so much fun I'm going too..woohoo...she's booked me into same hotel as her and is going to phone the ticket place and get the same tickets she's got for the various venues and we'll be having 5 great days of girly fun together.Have never been to a festival before ..this is a blues one but who cares....best get some fabby wellies as it always rains at festivals and it's a bank holiday weekend too...
Have just been online and bought the train tickets for £19.30 return and the train goes direct so no faffing about.
What do people wear to festivals?0 -
Anything they blooming well like Taxi! Layers are the key so you can manage whatever the weather, good wellies and a waterproof. If it's hot loads of sunscreen and a big hat. Sounds great and Hebden is lovely, have a good time.0
