    Happy Easter everyone xx

Not been about as have been pretty busy..am on a major decluttering/getting stuff done mission and have had JJ around a lot.

I've decluttered under the stairs(a major task in itself..lol)...decluttered a corner in the front room...(It's the electric cupboard which I keep a lot of books and junk on and around that area).....decluttered the bedding/towel cupboard ...gave DD1 loads of towels and stuff she wanted and have some stuff in the car ready for the charity shop.

I've still got loads to do but am getting there.

DD1s partner has been around the last few nights and has replaced all my plug and light sockets with nice shiny silver ones, hung 2 mirrors for me...he's still to put two curtain poles up for me and to replace all the door handles but is getting there.

JJ loves his new school and got an Easter egg and certificate for 100 % attendance and punctuality.

He's also a very lucky boy as DH bought him a new bike yesterday....DH convinced him the day before to have his stabilisers removed from his old bike (he was very scared to try but DH gave him a spanner to help remove them and this helped convince him...lol)...and after half an hour he could ride it all be it a bit wobbly...so grandad bought him a new bike yesterday but he was scared to try it so grandad decided to take JJ to the indoor skate bike to show him what can be done on a bike...as soon as left the place JJ decided he would like to ride his new bike and hey presto he could ride it...lovely how DH can persuade him of these things..lol
they then played playstation for an hour or so followed by a supper of KFC and then he went home a happy boy...

Have been out and about pottering this last week in the lovely weather..nothing exciting but glad that some of my energy is returning gradually.

On the money front have set up our ISAs for this year, bills are paid, still out of the overdraft and still no use of CCs so all good as this means that I don't have to go to work.

Am hoping to pay the last off our holiday in May £436..it's not due to be paid off until Oct but like it out of the way..am happy that we'll have managed to pay it out of normal money rather than savings and early.

On the weight loss front put a 1LB ON THIS WEEK but I know why so won't do that again.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend...what lovely weather we're having x

You've been a busy bee. My DD2 was amazing when she learnt to ride a bike and did it in 5 mins. If I hadn't been there I wouldn't have believed it. I think horse riding taught her her balance but it was very funny to hear her saying 'I can do it, I can do it!'

    Kids are so funny..eh
Have been quite busy the last hour or so washing pots and putting away..couple of wash loads washed and on the line..washing folded out of dryer...got one little wash load on now which will go on the line and then a big wash load to do followed by a cleaning cloths wash.

Need to hoover up yet and do the dusting but can only manage stuff in short bursts with a rest in between but am getting there slowly.
  • :jIts all really coming together isn't it.

JJ's school sounds great, nothing like a certificate to keep the kids motivated. And bless him with the nike, bet he wants to do lots of tricks now!

His new school is very good and they can walk to that one whereas his other was 5 miles away.
