Thats brilliant news about the bath blow up, without sounding daft it will give you some independance back.
What I would give for a long soak in the bath,.... but have to wait for Tunisia for that one... (baths seem wider and had supportive handles - last time I managed 4 baths in 2 weeks,).
Got the plumber coming tomorrow to look at the bathroom as the original bloke can't do it, this one sounds nice, and he's said time frame not a prob.
I'm just having one of those can't sleep evening, so thought kill bit time on net, thou bailey is throwing me a look as if to say go to bed and turn the light out, he's ver comfy at the mo on the settee. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hi Taxi, just popping on to say hello really, as I was struggling with getting online, and I'm off on my travels tomorrow, hurray ...
the bath/shower thing sounds interesting - my mum can't use the bath any more - I think she quite likes showers, but I might investigate how she feels about a bath lift..... this is a wonderful thread!
EDIT oh, and well done on the weight loss and the walking - thats definitely the way to go.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Lost another 2lbs this morning so happy about that.
Got back to find my bath lift had been delivered...so now have the compressor on charge and hopefully can have a bath tonight. It even comes with a euro plug so can be used in europe.
Have a good trip Karma xx
mum2one....good luck with the bathroom as that will help loads....know what you mean about missing baths.i'm really hoping this is the answer...0 -
Another good loss, Taxi - have a star jump! :j I've done loads of walking but all my weight seems to be doing is yoyo-ing. I keep losing and regaining the same 3.5lbs - if I could only find which 3.5lbs it is, I could see it off for good
. I'm doing ok - really looking forward to spring springing properly - seems to have been a long winter indoors. I love winter normally but have been physically stuck in far too much this year - though it was probably for the best! I've got £50 in quidco which I've decided is going on piano lessons for ME! so they'd better pay up :rotfl: take care x
