Taxi, great news that the benefit office is doing the right thing, we hear such terrible stories today that it is heartening to hear them applying the rules properly to support those in genuine need.
I do lurk and keep an eye on your ww target, isn't it great to see weight going down? I too haven't braved swimming yet and thought that I would go once I have lost 30lbs. Sadly there isn't a good health club nearby so I envy you that one.
Off to buy tomato seeds now. Are you doing your yard oasis this year?0 -

Are you also getting support and help from relevent charities to ensure you have the things in place both practical and financial to help you on your road to recovery? It was the stories that got me so stressed out re the benefit. The new descriptors
are a lot harder to sartisfy at the end of the month.
RE the weight loss well done to you on your weight loss and swimming would be good. What a shame that you don't have a decent health club.
Funny enough was thinking about my pots the other day....I'll be able to do them if someone helps me as I cannot bend to lift the pots up....they need emptying and re planting am sure DS3 and JJ would help me.I'll be alright once they are planted as the hose pipe is permanently attached to the outside tap and DH shortened it to the right length of the garden last year so I'm ok to water them myself.0 -

I don't have any help what so ever either practically or financially.my daughter and husband help me by doing the things I can't manage..the hardest problem by far is bathing...we have a bath with overhead shower..on a good day I can step into the bath for a shower with help. It's near impossible to have a bath as it's very hard to get up from sitting...think a bath lift is the answer but they are very expensive or to get rid of the bath for a walk in shower...am hoping with weight loss, pain management and some time that things will greatly improve...ironically a hot bath helps my pain but getting out is so hard.0 -
