This happened to my daughter and it turned out she had a burst ear drum - so might be worth seeing the doctor again?

Does he know how he did his ear-drum without sounding grusome, has he got a habit of poking his ears, - cotton buds being pushed in, or the end of the pen, - I once pierced my eardrum with a knitting needle had an itch couldn't get to, got this knitting needle, thought pulled it out - hadn't and turned caught the eardrum.

The pus etc that is coming out does sound good as the infection coming out, just doesn't look the best.
Give him a big hug from us, and hope all goes ok xx

Good luck for 2mor, you never know they might surprise you and get on like a house on fire, could be the dog being in kennel may resent another one going past, as if to say hey I want to get and have a run.
    keep fingers crossed.

We've got our census to do, mums started - which usually means someone has to sort it out, so may take a leaf out of your book and go online.

Done, dusted, bring printed 2mor, x

Hi Mum2one....it's a build up of pressure in the ear that caused it to burst. He has an under developed tube in his ear and in previous years has had gromits put in.He never ever puts anything in his ear.Dr said the pressure just built up and then burst.
It was running a lot overnight but today it doesn't seem to be running...so that's good.

We decided not to go for the dog in the end as feel that they are very mis matched....Tess being laid back and quite lazy ...this other dog an absolute live wire and for a while would need walking seperately.

Some good news....I rang the social today as hadn't heard about my benefit and was sick of worrying about it.The 1st lady I spoke to wasn't quite sure about it so arranged for someone from the medical deciscions unit to call me back within 3 hours.Surprisingly, they phoned back and the deciscion was made yesterday and I've been put in the support group again for 6 months...so am very happy about that.
This means I don't have to go to job centre and they'll leave me alone to get better.

DH and I went to Subway for lunch for a treat and then nipped to Aldi for a bit of shopping.

Still have a lot of jobs to sort out off my list but will get there...eventually

And as you say, it gives you more time to concentrate on the important stuff - like getting properly better and getting on with living :)
