ditto to that idea, it sounds daft so simple but so effective, I know a while ago there was a suggestion from the ambulance systems, whwew in your phone you put ICE 1, ICE 2 etc, as in case of emergency number xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Can I make a suggestion? I find with things like the gym and in my case, practicing music, unless I make it my no1 'I've GOT to do it' priority in the day, it tends to slip down the list until 'there's no time to do it' in the evening after all the other stuff has been done (or not quite, if my 'to do' list is impossibly/optimistically long), then 'cos I haven't done the other stuff, the gym/music can't be done'.
I don't know if you are like me, but housework always seems such a priority that I never quite get round to the 'other stuff' as much as I intend.
I need to turn my days upside down.I know that your fitness is a massive priority for you, so don't end up like me constantly doing housework and not getting your top priority in there.
This is so true Pickle. If I don't get my kit ready the night before and go first thing, I can always find more important jobs to do ("Oh I'd love to go for a run, but I need to lick the skirting boards clean first" etc)
If you go to the gym first, you'll have more energy to do the housework later - or hope that someone else does it while you're out!
Have a good day x0 -
Morning Taxi,
that's an impressive list - make sure you do some fun things too, although it is lovely to see you hving the energy & motivation to do all those things
xx0 -
Totally agree with what Pickle wrote - Taxi, your health is much more of a priority than your glass - now that you're getting well, I can understand it might be difficult to prioritise it in the same way, but you need to - and that to-do list is really mahoosive
have a *good* day

Brilliant idea about the medication, will pass it on to Mum, who is diabetic, chronic heart failure, and has half of Boots in a box next to her.
The housework will still be there, its such a lovely day that although it shows the windows in their worst possible light, I would be wanting to be out in the fresh air, even if its only a walk down the road.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Best laid plans and all that....LOL
DD1 popped round last night to ask a favour....she stayed a couple of hours...so only the oven got cleaned.
Last month DD1s house was robbed and they stole her Staffie Pup and even his harness and lead along with other stuff. She was looking in the local paper and a staffie fitting her dogs description and age and found 2 streets away from her house was in the paper.DD rang the number which happened to be kennels about 20 miles from here hence her visit to me last night and could I take her to check the dog today between 10am and 1pm.
So after her being here last night for a couple of hours and me not getting the housework done and her coming today with her partner to go and see if it was her dog,,,she left little man at home with babysitter as didn't want to get his hopes up....we go to the kennels and it isn't her dog...BUT...she fell in love with the dog anyway and asked about adopting it...he was free to be adopted as he'd been there over a week...so then we went back home to get little man to see if it got on with him and they got on great so DD has now adopted him and brought him home.He was as good as gold in the car.
So I've done about 100miles driving today and am worn out now. There'll be no housework here tonight...lol
Whilst at the kennels there was another beautiful dog that was picked up as a stray last Thursday...I'm interested in adopting him if he isn't claimed so need to phone next Thursday and if he's not been placed back with his owners will take Tess down to meet him and providing they get on will adopt him.
There have been a couple of things done off the list and the rest can be done over the week...will go and check the list and update it.
Was trying to do them all over the weekend so that housework wasn't on my mind but will do it along side going to the gym.0 -
