Glad you've got an appointment fairly quickly - fingers crossed they can help. With the weight loss, someone suggested I look at it in terms of packs of butter or lard. You have 17 packs of lard that have just melted away :j Pretty gross idea but strangely motivating?!? :p
    Take care

When I did WW a few years back the leader used bags of sugar as the analogy - she gave some of us the equivalent bags of sugar to carry in a shopping bag as the amount of weight we'd lost - boy was that bag heavy, even with just a stone gone, it really made you think!

    Hi everyone...
Went to DRs and was given Amitriptyline..I have to take 2 at night and go back in 2 weeks to let him know if they work.I asked him to refer me to pain management as well so he's doing that...I want to try accupunctureor something more natural.
He thinks the pain is neuropathy brought on by chemo and radiation.
I need something that will ease the pain so that at least I can have a walk...am hoping this will help with the weight loss which will help with the pain..it's a vicious circle ...
I also bought some heat pads and have one of those on at the moment..hope that does something but you put them over clothes so might as well have used a hot water bottle.I had to buy the ones with no anti inflammatories in as I can't use them.

This month needs to be a paperwork month...I need to

    (1) Fill in the medical questionairre for the ESA ...it's pages long
    (2) Bring the accounts back up to date...mid oct -feb
    (3) Get a passport form and fill it in and send it off for DHs passport.
    (4) Arrange travel insurance
    (5) Sort and file lots of paper that is hanging around here
    (6) Look into new gas and electric deal as mine is coming to end at end of month...confused as looked last night and EDF and EON were the cheapest but they are putting their prices up over the next few days so don't really know.
(7)Pay DHS NI bill at PO
that's quite a list to get through but most needs to be done this month..

Nice to have some targets for stuff that has to be done though - I always find that when there is an actual deadline to do something it's easier somehow. And, on that note, I will go and make muffins using the elderly banana before it shuffles off its mortal coil completely! :D
