I don't know whether struggling to walk is as a result of treatment or my weight as I'm 10 stone overweight am really pushing on with this stuff with my DRS and at least they'll be able to back me up...I really need to get the pain under control though even standing for a few minutes leaves me in agony...don't know whether I'll have the pain long enough to qualify for DLA.0

Taxi, that sounds really bad, I'm so sorry you're in so much pain. DLA is an idea, certainly - but, just what RMC said, it takes a lot of energy and patience. Mind you, you said you had more mental energy - maybe thats what you could use it for, as a short term award.
