    It sure is a worry, but at least those of here who are already practised in money saving ways have a good chance of riding the storm :)

    Am still tired Lula but come new year everything should start getting better.I have my last chemo next wednesday.The cold seems to be clearing up now..just have a cough now.

    You are right Lula...we have more chance of weathering the storm

    Good to hear the cold is clearing up - keep up your vitamin C intake & plenty of rest lady :D

    Thanks for confirming the Tax Credits & ISA stuff - I will forge ahead next year then & my mattress can remain as it is.

    Horrific that having saved for the future, anyone who require financial help due to illness will lose their savings :mad:.

    It's so unjust, but I am glad that yours are safe :j

    There are still fireworks going off here; beautiful display I can see from the window - one of the advantges of living on the first floor, that & rarely getting snowed in :)

    how lovely to see the firworks....
    my savings will be long gone by the time that rule comes in as I will have paid my mortgage off with them and then at least whatever happens we will never be homeless.
