    Grrrrrr to AA -

I usually alternate between AA & RAC via quidco - your post reminds me that 2011 will be the RACs turn ;)

    Enjoy cake & sleep

Have sorted it now...they are refunding 80 odd pounds...reducing it to £121 for the year and apologised.
The refund will take up to 21 days...quick at taking but not quick at giving back.

That is absolutely typical of organisations. Well done for getting it sorted.

    Hope your all ok xx

Just popped in for a nose, & saw you are nearing the end of your chemo thats great xxx
I'm sure it will be a great relief that it's almost over.
Just wanted to add my 2ps worth re breakdown cover - I now use Autoaid, after it was recomended by another MSE'r it costs £37 a year, you need to pay upfront for any towing repairs etc, so a CC or DEB card come in handy, it covers you to drive any car + spouse if you have one & when OH's car had to be towed, I recieved a cheque for the money we paid out really quickly & with no problem at all.
    Take care xxxx
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Afternoon everyone..thanks for all the input regarding breakdown cover...I couldn't be bothered looking around this year as was quite ill with the chemo..not very MSE I know...I also have to check that these firms cover commercial vehicles but will definitely look into it when I feel better.

On to MSE news ...I've just put £254 into savings and am now in the £21ks owing....so am pleased about that.

I sill have my cold but it's improving but was really sick yesterday afternoon

Woo hoo to the savings - but be careful with that cold, your immune system must be pretty fragile right now.

    Lots of hugs.

that's the big worry with the cold..it can put me in hospital and if my blood count is low on tuesday it will delay my chemo which will have a knock on effect with delaying rads...so am not doing anything strenuous so that I can keepmy blood count up.
  • Hi hun, tried to post yesterday but laptop didn't want to play.

You are doing brilliantly on the savings and well done for giving the AA an earful, cheeky sods!

(((Hugs))) for you, fingers crossed that your cold goes away swiftly xx
