    Thanks Gothicfairy. You've answered my question!

    The meter is in the footpath outside the front door. I had to raise the metal lid, lift a circular polystyrene cover and then clean about 2 inches of dirt from the top of the meter before I could read it
  • just had mine, is always a nice surprise compared to my heating bill!
