Well my loaf turned out really fab!

We used a prepared mix that I brought from Sainsbury's, chucked the water in first, then the mix and the 25grm of margarine that it suggested.

Found it easy to use too.

Lynsey ROCKS! All downloaded and printed now, just need to get my apron on and get baking!

Thank you so much for your kind help and thank you also to Silk and JJ7. looks like all the bits are there so a great big bargain. I'm so excited, can't wait to get started. There's loads of recipes in the instructions so that's a great starting point. Have fun everyone.

P.s. Am always touched by the kindness and thoughtfulness of others on this site. makes it a lovelier world!

Picked mine up from Edinburgh Hermiston Gate this morning. Had a bit of a laugh in the process:

I go into store and hand over ref number to very nice staff member.
He calls through to the back to get the order brought through. Seems a bit confused by what he hears and I start to worry they're sold out. But then he tells me the guy will be through in a minute with my breadmaker, and that he knew it was a breadmaker without being told.
Other staff member brings through my breadmaker. He says that there are 10 breadmakers reserved for collection that day, and they can't figure out why (except for the good price, obviously!).
The power of MSE! So if you had a breadmaker reserved in Hermiston Gate today, hello :hello:! And thank to OP.

I ordered one of these yesterday but got to the shop today just as they were locking up. My reservation has disappeared from my account and now there's none available anywhere near me:mad:

    Can't believe I missed out :(

Unless staff have bought it, it will still be there. As I said earlier the website says OOS when fewer than 5 items are in store. You could ring the order helpline 08445 61 62 63 (or go no no0870 website for local number) and they can tell you the stock levels of your local stores.

Great I'll call them first thing tomorrow :)

    Thanks for your help :)

Plus do another online stock check this evening or first thing tomorrow because those who reserved and didn't pick up will have their order put back on sale again (reservation only held to the day after).

Go into the store (or phone them) tomorrow morning. When the shop has less than 5 they don't come up on the online system (I tested this myself today). They shouldn't have sold the one you reserved yet so it should still be there in the morning. If you ring the store they may reserve it for another day, but they might not so be prepared to go in first thing!

... and I mean FIRST THING as these are flying off the shelves!

EDIT... OOPS SORRY! Didn't see the above posts saying the same thing!

I see it has a digital timer instead of a manual knob. Does this mean it can't be set to start baking before you rise in the morning?
