I am looking at phones which are free on £25 ish contracts, which is most of them really except stuff like i-phone 4.
I dont want a samsung galaxy - I have used one and don't like it.
Thinking of maybe an iphone or blackberry or HTC?
basically I need it to be easy to call and text on and I want to be able to upload photos directly onto facebook? But don't really know how I find this out?! And I want to be able to browse the web easily.
Would be greatful of any guidance!

I'm very happy with my Motorola dext, simple to use and has loads of great (free :money:) apps. Also has blur, which makes updating Facebook very easy. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0

£25 will get you a free Sony Ericsson Vivaz on O2 with 300 minutes, 1gb of internet/email and unlimited texts on a 24 month contract. If you place the order via Topcashback or Quidco you'll probably make some money on the deal, too.
Both Topcashback and Quidco offer £35 cash back if you go via their site to place your order. If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

This is a "how long is a piece of string" question. We need more information from you.
Which network are you on and do you want to stay with them?
Have you phoned "retentions" or "upgrade" or are you on PAYG?
How flexible is your budget?
For £35 you can get a 24 month contract including the HTC Desire for free on Three with 2,000 minutes and 5,000 texts plus 1Gb internet (which you will need). In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
It's worth looking at Three's iPhone tariff too (clickly). In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0

It is a completly new contract so none of those questions are relevant really TBH except the budget. I am just looking for a brand new contract, not bothered about network.
Ideally I would like to stick to the £25 ish although I am more flexiable if it came with the free gifts (laptop or Tv). That is a very good deal though!
Its more the phone I would like recomendations for I guess, although contract info is obviously useful too.
Thank you0 -
Anybody know if the HTC hero is any good?0

I have just bought the HTC Wildfire after 2 weeks of researching (including advice on here!!).
Went for that one as it is the lower budget phone to Desire and good for internet experience.
Was advised Blackberry is good for texting and emailing but as good for internet.
The deal I got (today:j) was at T Mobile £20 a month for free phone, 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 1gb internet. The packages everywhere else on the high street at £20 were for no more than 500mb with the exception of T Mobile.
Quite like the phone after the little I have played with so far.0 -
Thanks Shelle! The wildfire is out of stock on t-mobile site though :-(0

T-Mobile do the HTC Desire for £30/month - 600 minutes, 500 texts, internet and a flexible booster (EG - unlimited calls to landlines, unlimited texts & you can change it every month).
The operating system for the Desire is Google's "Android". This is being updated and I believe the Desire is one of the few current phones that will run this update.
Have a look at the HTC Desire "Best Deals" thread (clicky) It's 25 pages long, so I'd skip on to about page 22!!
Avoid the Samsung Galaxy S in all its forms, as it's been widely criticised for having a bigger antenna problem than the iPhone!!In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
I posted a thread aobut internet use and the samsung phone.
looks like I should not get the Galaxy S.. I also wanted O2 or Orange but is looks like I shoud be getting something on Tmobile ??
