O.K. I'll try some passive aggression instead. Maybe you'll find it more polite? I'll begin with a cleaver sigh...

<sigh>
I respect your opinion carolt. You're one of the intellectuals on here. I find your posts extremely informative, it's always a pleasure to read them. I am sure there are many posters who'd shoot themself in the head should you ever leave.
That's passive aggression?
Sounds like a straighforward compliment to me. Though I wouldn't want the shooting in the head thing - I will undeniably leave at some point, and I wouldn't want to feel anyone was too upset by this.
Feel free to keep it up; I much prefer your passive aggression to insults.
I can't really pronounce on you, Malcolm, as I'm extremely unclear as to your leanings or raisons d'etre. I find you complex to the point of extremely murky. Which is your right, of course.0 -

I originally posted on here to escape events in real life. I now come here for enjoyment and to write a bit. I certainly don't seem to learn anything here, with the exception of people watching.0 -
I didn't feel it merited a more detailed response, and yes, I admit, I rather hoped you'd respond with 'Oh yes it is', which, let's face it, is all these threads really say a lot of the time.0

You asked one other person? Really? Who? What did they think about you bringing up some minute internet squabble?
Is what someone called someone on an internet forum really a topic of conversation among your friends???
You need to get out more...
I've told you what they thought. They thought you were completely wrong.
You must be used to that by now.
As for someone who posts 3 times as much as me telling me to get out more..... ermmmm..... had a look in the mirror recently?

I can honestly say I never discuss the petty arguments on here with anyone else, no.
Gosh, your conversations with your friends must be interesting.
