We clearly disagree but there's been no real name-calling, so it proves 'friends' can disagree quite amicably
I'm playing bigot bingo, but I don't think I've scored yet.
I'm shooting for:
"the immigrants"
"those people"
"in the Daily Mail"
"One of my friends is black"
"the youth of today"0 -

Couldnt agree more. Its nice to see a thread such as this that hasnt resorted to proper name calling. Unless you count those that called us scummy chavs if we eat in a supermarket.......

I could go to the theatre &talk all through the performance--that's rude.
I could tell you where to go & offer to start the process for you--that's rude.
I could push in front of you in the queue for the bank, bar, checkouts--that's rude.
I could remove your towel from the sun lounger closest to the pool--that's rude.
I could pass loud comment on your wardrobe choices--that's rude.

So why is that not enough of a good reason to stop?

But on the basis there are no signs up saying you can't do any of those things, several posters believe it is ok to do them until there are signs...

The things you have stated above would directly affect the other person whereas eating whilst shopping does not have any direct detriment to the other person.0 -
It's theft until you actually buy it. Sadly, there's a percentage who don't.
This meams you must either leave the store without paying or the store must be able to prove that you either had or would have attempted to peave the store without paying.
Otherwise it would never stand up in the custoduly suite let alone a court, and i should know i shoplifted for approx. 18 months. In any case, regardless of what laws are dragged up, it's bad manners.
so its not about the fact that people are 'stealing' its about what YOU consider good manners??MoneySpendingExpert0 -
