Slugs/carrot root fly don't like them
I recycle them around the plants - just swill out the pot and then dump them on the plants
I also recycle the coffee first off by using a pot full and making the most of a full pot, I make a full pot, drink it gradually over a day or so - if I put it in the fridge it lasts 2-3 days (I heat the coffee in the microwave) and then recycle the grains
apologies if this sounds minging - I'm the only one that drinks coffee and I like real coffee - so I make a pot and once its cold I put it in the fridge til its done:o
Well done on thinking about making bigger quanities of stuff - I knicked the idea originally from 'Mbaz feed your family on £40 for the month'
Batch cooking saves time/energy/stops those takeaway jaunts when you know you've hte sauce made already - you're half way there!
I do love this thread.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
