Csarina, I am so sorry, I was sure I had mentioned your episode with the DGC, you must think I am an ignorant so-and-so. If you are looking for something to do in Edinburgh with them try Camera Obscura on Castle Hill, my boys love it, although its not cheap, IIRC its £6 for the kids and £8 for adults, but a brilliant day out.

    Evening
    Molly
I spent £72 in Mr A today....and really didnt need to. If I even suggest going shopping for more than fruit and veg for at least two weeks can somebody please slap me?

In fairness I did get some good bargains like 2 1/2 ducks with pancakes (DH loves it) reduced from £6 to £3.90 and I have a bulging store cupboard and full fridge and freezer which makes me feel very secure. Sad but true.

I also need to grow strawberries next year as DD has earnt the nickname strawberry shortcake as she's eaten so many lately! might be costly but she smells lovely :D

Step kids have been at their mums from wednesday and are due back tomorrow but the break has been lovely.

Need to do a full meal plan for the next week or so and stick to it!! I start my new tablets tonight which i'm hoping makes for a better nights sleep and less pain - I really want to cook and bake but i'm just too effin sore!!

Csarina - OMG it just shows how easy it is to be knee deep in disaster! so glad things ended well x

Also bearing in mind i'm on my 2nd vodka.... I now have a mental image of Jellybabys Elephant hitching up its tutu to tempt lamewolfs elephant away by showing a bit of leg ;) I am sick. I make no apology :D

Going to annoy facebookers for a while

    Evening All

Redruby - well done on losing all that weight!

    Happy Birthday to Haribo.

Csarina - That sounds very scary, bet you don't want to let them out of your sight now!! Stiff drinks all round I think.

Had a busy day yesterday, pulled out loads of weeds that were about 4foot high from the side of the house and made three trips to the tip with those and other garden prunings, it all looks a lot tidier but the thistles will have to wait until I get some stronger gloves! Glad most of it is done as it is raining again.

Did all the ironing this morning then went to visit friends who have a gorgeous new puppy called Alfie. It is a cross between a Jack Russell and a Cocker Spaniel so will be interesting to see what it ends up like. Very cute though and tempts me to get another one - we lost our dog last year aged 15 but don't really want to be tied again. I would like the exercise and company though but may just borrow theirs!

Went to see some very good friends this afternoon and caught up with loads of gossip, DD out with BF and not much OS going on here.

Have a good weekend all. XX
