Those were the only two I could find. I had hoped they might be of use to me, but I need something more low fat. HTHWell done on the weight loss - you've done really well there.
For the egg muffins it's just (for a 6 tin deep muffin tin) 6 eggs, some pre-cooked bacon and a touch of double cream. You can add anything else you like, I found that tomatoes make the muffins watery. Anyway, whisk up the eggs and herbs/cheese/whatever, cut up the bacon into small pieces and stick some in the muffin tin. Pour the egg mixture over the top and cook for about 15 - 20 mins until all is set.
These freeze really well. I take one out each morning before showering and it's normally ready to eat in about 15 mins. Perfect for a lunch box too.
Mmm... might make some today after all that!
Thanks ladies, all sound delish, will make some up during the week xx0 -

Morning chums a little cooler this morning which is good My DGS is coming round to sand down my outside bannister that leads to the garden and then hopefully varnish it for me.He is 14 and desparate to earn a few bob so I have a list of little jobs he can do to earn them.
had a nice lunch with my crafting ladies yesterday at Newnham Court Theres a great pub where you get a decent lunch for a buy one get one free so as long as there is an even no. we can feed our faces for £4.30 each plus a drink. We all drive so its usually a lime & soda water around 50p so lunch is under a fiver each. They are huge as well.I had Cod chips and peas and could't finish it all,and last night only had fruit for dinner as I was still full up from lunch.NSD's for this week as I have full cupboards and freezer and am going to eke my cash out until I go on my holidays .
DD rang last night from Lanzarote and said the complex was very quiet and almost deserted and it was as though it was off season She thinks the recession and the cost of the euro has put people off from going abroad. Not even any Germans to fight over the lounge chairs in the morning.Right well I'm off to fish something out of the freezer for DGS as he is tall and skinny and eats like a horse I think he has hollow legs.have a good day everyone

Tha plan this morning was to go to North berwick. I went to get the car,OH was in bed with a dizzy, K had parked the pick up across the entrance to the garage....I requested that he move it as we wanted to go to North Berwick and he told me about a beach closer to us, so off we went.
Lovely beach, both DGC stripped off and were in the sea.......DGS decided to explore the rocks, DGD decided to follow him, did not realsie the tide was turning....oooopppsss, she got caught out on the rocks with the tide coming in.....I had visions of having to get the lifevboat out, but eventually she managed out, cut to ribbons with the razor shells on the rocks. DGS arrived back, also with cut feet. I had dgd dried and into her clothes and we decided to head for home once DGS had also changed his clothes.
Back at the house, DGS went in the bath, DGD was shivering so I made her a very small brandy in hot water with lots of sugar and wrapped her in fleeces. Once DGD was out of the bath DGD went in.....lunch of bacon rolls and nanas special orange trifle 2 cups of tea, and apart from some cuts and scratches both of then are ok....... it just shows how tretcherous and unpredictable the sea can be.....i think I aged 50 years in a few minutes............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Csarina that sea stuff sounds like a nightmare, I am frightened of water, especially the sea. Glad it all turned out ok in the end!
The elephant from the top of my head has eased up a lot but is still lurking there slightly. We have new neighbours moving in today. Just looked out of the upstairs window ito their garden and they have two gorgeous dogs, I have two as well so I think things could get rather noisy around here!Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0 -
Hi Guys,
Csarina - I know how you feel. A few years ago DS2 got lost on a beach and we were seconds from calling out the coastguards as we thought he had got washed out to sea!
Well in my house its the day after the night before. Only wish I had had such a good time but I did manage to help prepare my DDs 18th party at home. A good time was had by all but i seem the most hungover and didnt even drink!!
So OS has been clearing up and then snoozing!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
