What from the company or MS??
Need to prove it first.
If licence allows off site use. Then it will be harder to prove illegal use and make it stick.
Penalty is jail/fine/sacking if it can be proved, depending how big it is.
Eg MR Smith blags a copy of ms office bangs it out on ebay and sells 2000 copies. Good chance he may do porridge get the sack or sack and fine if he is lucky.
eg mr jone blags a copy, Swears blind he needed it to do a presentation for work both too ms and to work. And its an off-site licence. then prob worst will happen is slap on wrists.
What you want to do ??? Shop half the work force?
Or just stop the copying?
Tell us were your comming from we can maybe help lol0 -

If you want to take it further you should report them to their/your superiors. They could be suspended, sacked, or nothing could happen at all.
However, whilst what they are doing may not be right, you have to weigh this up with the fact that you may still have to work with these people after you report them. The Daily Mail

So you have a vlk. Half the workforce and there granny has it now.
Why you want to dob them?
And your company may not be happy at you for dobbing this fact in.
Its easy too sort lol0 -

Dont report can never be proved near imposible to work.
I would actually agree with you John. I was only pointing out what could be done.
Whilst it may not be legal etc, its up to the company to sort out and not for one employee to take upon themselves. It would open up a massive can of worms and possibly backfire on the OPThe Daily Mail

its real easy report and stop. Just report to microsoft they will cancel the vlk. Tell them what you have said here. But this will cause major headaches.
Still would like to know why you feel this is necessary?0 -
Chances are no one person will get in trouble all that will happen is new vlk's will get issued and will cause organisaition headaches and you if they find out it was you.
If you want to get one person the sack then that needs a different plan !!!!!lol0
