JML screw extractor

    Toolsation.co.uk have screw extractors for about £2.50 and "damaged screw extractors" (like the JML ones) for £3.25.

    These ones work too!

    Have to say the JML screw extractors are indeed rubbish. I bought some of them on ebay (not full price fortunately!). The best thing in the JML screw extractor set was the milling drill bit (was handy to make a keyhole in shed door) .
    Didn't get to try the screw extractors until the other week and when i did i found them totally useless and they just drilled out a cone in the screw head and made a mess with metal filings. I ended up drilling the head off with a standard HSS drill bit. Only thing i can think of using them for is to make screws into security screws so that you can't remove them!!
