    Tried the chicken soup the other day out of curiousity, it was vile!!

  • I buy their basics:

    kidney beans (no difference to others)
    tinned mushy/marrowfat peas (13p)
    rice (fine)
    spagetti/pasta (fine)
    tinned toms (fine)
    tinned sweetcorn (lovely)
    OJ (ok but concentrated)
    butter (lovely)
    To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,
    requires brains!

    I also buy tinned toms and kidney beans, I also buy cheese spread (58p I think) choc chip cereal bars (79p) caramal wafers (48p like tunnocks but smaller) and garlic bread

    Their M savers washing up liquid at 38p is just as good as the main brands and their M saver jaffa cakes are exactly the same as the well known brand but at a fraction of the price.

    Their M saver Baked Beans at around 27p taste as good as the brand ones to me.
  • The value toothpaste is good enough, I think it was around 30ish p?

    Always buy the value cheese slices, canned tomatoes, and fruit scones. Fruit juices fine, but treat us to "not from concentrate" stuff if I can afford it. J cloths are the same as any other I have bought - don't use them too long before chucking them anyway.
