Anything that is Morrisons branded that I have bought has turned out to be a pile of ****.
Dustbin bags complete with holes in.
Paper plates that collapse when food is put on them.
Garlic bread that tastes like soap - and annoying my local store only sells about 8 different types of garlic bread that are ALL morrisons brand.
Me and my Dad have a running joke now as to who can get the worst thing from there.
I cant stand the place! Unfortunately as its the nearest supermarket to me I end up in there every so often if Ive forgotten to get something from Sains/Tesco. Dont even get me started on their self-service tills...0 -
Their frozen roast potatoes at £1 per kilo bag, and the value yorkshire puds - 39p for 12 - are very good. I do buy branded when they're on offer at the same price, but these are excellent VFM...
Although I'm still a "Fairy" user, I buy Morri's washing liquid (for laundry), 2-in-1 with fabric conditioner @ £3.62 at the moment - lovely scents! When it was on offer at £1.65 I tried it and loved it. My DD used to be really sensitive to washing powders, etc. so I used to buy Ariel but I can't afford that now.
In response to Claire16C... As with all supermarkets, they do vary from branch to branch. My "local" Asda and Tesco are over 25 miles away and worse than Morrisons, so it's very much a case of horses for courses!0 -
There tomato sauce is fine and so is their 18p lemonade. Don't go anywhere near their value coke though. It's aweful0

Okay it's grocery, but biscuits fine, instant coffee utterly dire.0

value oj is really nice imo
value kitchen is good and as i live alone a pack of 3 seems to last me months
i used the savers lemons to make a lemon drizzle cake recently and even though quite small they were fine and everyone loved the cake
value pittas and tortilla wraps were good for a snack, i only used the pittas to dip into humous and the wraps to make quasadillas as they're quite small0 -
had the baked beans for dinner - they were fine0

Their coke is aweful and tastes very salty and undrinkable. However the lemonades nice0
-
whoops - bought loads of the srawberry frusli type bars - sticky like glue0

I've just used their gravy granules-20p-to thicken and add taste to a stew and they taste fine. Same old dodgy ingredients that most gravy granules have, potato starch and palm oil, but I'm not planning on eating much of it. It's not got that 'Beef crisps' taste that 'Bisto Best' has, but on the whole, not bad for 20p.0

A couple of products I like that haven't been mentioned...
Fruit and nut chocolate
French set yogurts
and their multigrain bread is the nicest I've had - but I guess that might not be consistent from store to store, and that's not a 'value' product0
