Was FLYing really well until I got distracted by pictures in my head of TNG/FLYboy with his hand stuck up a duck's backside......;)

Welcome all newbies like Pondsaver, lavidaloca, Sunny Angel and Littlebean. It's great to have you all join us. Welcome back Chipps - missed yer

You'll all have good and bad days - the key is to keep at it and get support / help / tips from the gang on here when it gets too much.

Here's what I've done so far today:

Made master bed, tidied room
Swished ensuite
Made guest bed (parents left this morning) tidied room
Made DS bed, tidied room
Swished bathroom
- so upstairs looks great except the office (lets not go there shall we)
Put stuff in loft and got halloween lantern down
Swished toilet
Tidied lounge
Tidied Dining room
Tidied kitchen, stardropped sides, washed up (twice).
Emptied, loaded and ran DW
WM on x1
TD on x1
Cooked lunch
Carved pumpkin with DS and displayed with lantern
Sorted recycling
Hoovered dowstairs
Built train track with DS
Went swimming with DS
Played Connect 4 - DS's 3 year old rules

Still got ironing pile from hell to attack.

Thanks guys - feeling quite motivated having watched the challenge last week and with all the newbie FLYbabes. Have been feeling a bit low and sorry for myself the last few days lots of tears from nowhere on Friday - Penny understands why - but am feeling much better and FLYing has put me in control so I can enjoy my DS and my home and not feel defeated by both.

Anyway, enough soppy carp - TNG we want a full report on your duck antics in your wonderfully witty style. Intrigued to know if you'll need a hair dryer or you could just hang the duck up outside and scare away the Trick or Treaters...

Lynz - stop procrastinating and do your application form NOW. If you do I'll do 30 mins in the mess we call the office.

Thanks for the warm welcome. It must be the closet nosey parker in me that loves reading about what other people are up to during the day - also helps me to feel as though I'm part of the human race. My two babies are lovely but distinctly lacking in conversational skills. Still, they are both bathed and in bed. The toys have been chucked into a large box behind the sofa and the sink is shining (almost). It's been a good day today and a nice HM lasagne is sitting in the oven.Off to have a bath and a very large glass of red wine! Tomorrow my eldest boy is at nursery so I plan to try and get to grips with the housework - home blessing and I feel a 27-fling boogie coming on.
