15 minutes in bathroom? yes Ma'am!! *salutes*

Great to see everyone except me doing so well.

Denise - do not despair. No one (with the possible exception of Punky, Lynzpower, carlih1 and PenPen:D ) can keep up this full-tilt-maximum-pace-red-hot-efficiency all the time. We all (well most of us) have a dip now and again. take a moment. Forget about what you haven't been doing, that's in the past now. Concentrate on what you can do today, tomorrow. look forward!

    Beer's at Flyboy's bar later:D :j
:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood

Bathroom, kitchen hall & spare room

Part way through the bathroom now, but have got the shelves from the oven in the bath, so cant complete that just now.

I have got some boiling water cleaning out my oven now loosiening all the mank in there

I think its time to think about going to the charity shops, sending docs etc, while those things are soaking, then come back complete spare room, hopefully the shelves will look OK then so they can come out of the bath, I can clean the bath, shjower &screen & floor.

then I can do lunch then this PM do the kitchen

then just b4 OH gets in from work, quickly do the hall.

Spare room will have to wait till this evening I fear, although most of its done in fairness, just more floor cleaning & taking off any dregs of paint off the laminate flooring ( tiring & harshet job of them all!)

God getting back to normal flying will seem like a complete rest from all this!!!!

  • Hi... I've just joined the flylady site and received my first couple of emails starting with shine sink and dress to lace up shoes..... A couple of questions to you guys if I may?

How often do you check your reminders ... what's your routine etc and how long have you been flyladies/flyboys? You all seem very established... it's very inspirational.

My house is generally clutter free (tidy husband and 3 house trained kids!!! yippee) My problem is that I cant keep motivated to do a bit here and there because on the surface, things look o.k.... so when things do slide, I don't know where to start. Hence I think this would be exactly what I need, then I wouldn't feel that everything is a mammoth task.: Would love to hear how you all got started......and any tips.

    Keep flying !!!

    Claire (cashsaver.... not!!):D

    hiya claire!

I dont recieve the emails, I have been relying on someone else in here ( usually Michelle does it but she has more important things to do right now! ( ie having a baby :D)

Ive only been properly doing it for a couple of weeks, although it feels like such a way of life now, it feels like forever :j

Im sure im not doing it "properly" I dont have a timer, but I set myself a list of loads of little tasks & cross them off as the day/ evening progresses

Start small, somethings will need to be done daily, such as washing, and shining the sink is great thing to do daily, as you can see the results. otherwise theres some jobs that need only once so often ie a wipe out of the kitchen cupbaords, or tidy out of bathroom storage

    HTH
