  • Well, after a very productive day yesterday, DH has made a good start again. He had done everything he wanted to do yesterday, and has moved some boxes around for me, washed up, and is currently washing both cars. We also jointly wormed the cats, so i am now following one of them round as he keeps foaming at the mouth and leaving dribble everywhere. I hope some of the tablet actually reaches where it is supposed to.

I have emptied the airers onto the ironing pile, which is now quite large again. I think another sunday session in front of charmed is called for as DH has to go out to work this afternoon for a few hours.

DH also brought me two more boxes from the garage, so i am going to have a sort through those putting ornaments back out, and maybe some for the charity shop, and then give myself a bit of a shake, and try to repack that box i want putting in the loft. Why oh why do i keep putting certain jobs off?

anyway, the WM has just finished so i am going to fill the airers, and then see if there is room if i put another load in today.

Seems very quiet here today. Does that mean that you are all very busy, or that you have found something better to do with your sunday? ;)

  • Clutter seems to be getting on top of me, the kitchen table can't be seen and it's getting me down. So I have 2 huge plastic storage boxes, and plenty of binbags, and I plan to put all the clutter in to the boxes or the binbags. That way I can clean properly, and sort out homes for the clutter latter. Well that's the theory anyway :rotfl:

  • Nice to see more of you today. I felt al alone at the weekend.

Its really wet and miserable again here, so plans are again quite small. I was very pleased yesterday to manage an hour and half of ironing, and then about two and a half hours on the cross stitch i am doing for babys room. It is winnie the pooh 4 seasons. I'm doing Autumn at the minute, which is tigger, and really hard because of his stripes. Will try and do a bit every night while DH watches rubbish on telly. ;)

    Plan for Monday:
    1) 7F scheme written for school (i want to write one a day, so i'm done by wednesday, which will then mean 2 weeks for me before the baby is due) 2 out of 9 lessons done - inspiration there for the rest
    2) [STRIKE]clean the bathroom suite, and mirrors[/STRIKE]
    3) [STRIKE]one load of my dark washing [/STRIKE]
    4) [STRIKE]put washing on airer[/STRIKE]
    5) [STRIKE]post DVD rental back[/STRIKE]
    6) repack box for loft - (please don't shout at me, i know i keep putting this)
    7) make sausage, veggie mash and baked beans for tea veggies peeled ready
    8) spend time doing cross stitch - aim for one hour
    9) spend time doing ironing - aim - half an hour to an hour while watching home and away
    10) [STRIKE]do some more in office - try to pack another box[/STRIKE]
    11) [STRIKE]put away last nights washing up[/STRIKE]
    12) [STRIKE]make a loaf in BM[/STRIKE]
    13) [STRIKE]tidy kitchen[/STRIKE] cleaned draining board again (thanks cats for climbing on it with wet paws again) and washed up, and gave the window sill a quick wipe
    14) [STRIKE]deal with post[/STRIKE]
    15)[STRIKE] check internet banking[/STRIKE]

I'm a bit late starting today, but i feel a bit fresher for a better nights sleep. I've deliberately put lots of small jobs on because they still take me a long time as i waddle around the house, but i will feel as though i've achieved something when i do them.

Have a successful day everyone. After all, it is a brand new week.

What's a Flylady zone, Punky?

got to try and catch up after my weekend away. Knackered though, so will only do:

WM, TD - as amany as I can do with weekend stuuf
Dinner - nothing in, as we didn't do shopping cos we were away  Pasta surprise, then
    Ironing - shirts & trousers for me & DS1&2
EDIT: OMG - need to doa grocery shop too (no coffee this morning)
:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood
  • I'll reply on behalf of punky, as from that list, she looks busy. :j

    A flylady zone is:

The house is split into areas called zones, which are tackled one per week. You then get challenged to do a task in the zone of the week.

eg. for me, as it all depends how many rooms are in your house
zone 1 = hall and dining room
    zone 2 = kitchen
zone 3 = bathroom and one other room (alternate between spare bedroom and home office for me, although some people have more bedrooms, or a 2nd living room, or a laundry room)
zone 4 = the master bedroom
    zone 5 = the living room/family rooms

this week is the 3rd week in the calendar, so it would be bathroom and spare room for me, so i will be giving the bathroom suite a thorough clean.

the missions can then be things like, clear the empty bottles from the bathroom, put away all things in their right place, wash the tub.

    hope that helps flyboy. :D

Well so far, 7/15 jobs done. Will give an update later on when i get through a bit more.

    Michelle
