i'm struggling again this week. It's the w*** that is stopping me in my tracks. I have managed to keep the kitchen and bathroom tidy, and packed my hospital bag, so i am still baby stepping, but motivation is very low.
I've booked the whole day off work tomorrow so i shall be trying to get some small jobs done but will also need to do some school work as that is going at snails pace too.
I'm having to sit with my feet up this eveing as i don't want the midwife to see how swollen they are as she would probably sign me off work, and that will leave me with a lot less pay to start my maternity leave with.
I'll make sure that me or DH cleans the kitchen round again tonight so i have some room to work tomorrow.
Hope you are all still managing a bit.

I'm very impressed by all those long list of jobs being ticked off but wondered if there's anyone else like me still struggling to catch up from the school holidays?
been out of the house this morning but so far:
got one load of washing hung out
pizza dough on in BM for dinner
attempted a house blessing yesterday, but should have set the timer as I got sidetracked and didn't get it all done!
spent ages ironing yesterday but pile seems to be growing... maybe the clothes are breeding in there? guess if I can just get the school clothes ironed for the week it will be something!
Hi
I have posted on here before to say that I am taking it all a bit slowly!
I am still following the babysteps programme on the flylady website that will take a month to complete but it's breaking me in gently, which is good!
It all takes time for things to become habits and to shift the clutter etcetc and as Flylady says the house didn't get messy overnight and we can't therefore put it right over night!
Good luck and keep going I am not making any lists on here as not sure I am quite there yet!!0 -

I'm onto my second week with this, and although the house is still looking untidy in places, I have achieved quite a lot (for me anyway:o )
Done so far:
Kitchen completely stripped out and cleaned all appliances, floors walls and ceilings etc.
Kids bedroom has been cleaned out, all drawers and wardrobes decluttered
Bathroom has been cleaned but the tiles still need a good wash and polish
Living room, one cupboard to sort, but the rest is tidy and the carpet has been vaxed, and room cleaned.
My bedroom needs a major do, and there is a massive ironing pile in there:eek:
The good thing is that hubby is joining in now. He always tidies at the end of the day, whilst i'm at work, but is tidying more thoroughly, and he cleaned the fridge and cooker and a freezer at the weekend:j .
By the beginning of next week I aim to be completely on top of the house work, and starting to enjoy life a little more:rolleyes:0
