carrie give him a cloth and have him help!!.. obviously only if he is able!

Mine helped from the minute they were mobile!! they'd have a duster (or a baby wipe) and follow me around wiping and more often than not would soon get fed up and go find some proper things to play with!

    Hope he settles soon!

ive given up on todays cleaning. too much to do and ds isnt behaving....
Turn it into a game. Use the alarm on your mobile phone and try and beat the clock! Pick up clutter before the alarm goes off else you get tickled:) DD loves doing this, in fact I should do it more often!

Oh! party, well I have some gooseberry gin and some blackberry vodka;)

    I am Tackling My Pantry.

It would have been bad enough discovering the hidden stash of bulk-bought pulses, all just in date, but I didn't get there first. The mouse did. After cleaning, I have peppermint-oiled everywhere within an inch of its life. That worked when he found the birdseed.

I have been at it since mid-morning, and now I need to deal with half a dozen things still out on the work surface, but just had to have 5 minutes off with a cup of tea.
  • im back....... ive brought in the coal and backed up the fire.... washed up again, cleaned the bathroom, put some clothes away, put more clothes on radiators, emptied kitchen bin n sorted the rubbish into the appropriate bag/box/wheelie bin (dont go there its a sore point. doncaster council are takin the mick regarding household waste.), cleaned sides again, put towels in td, fed the cat ANd dog. phew!!! so after pondering things... im gonna do the dusting tonight when blade's in bed as i gotta empty the ashpan on the fire and hoover up which causes more dust!!!! so my schedule from now til bedtime is.....
now til 4:30 chill n have a cuppa whilst waiting for dd to come home from school.
4:30 start tea n wait 4 oh to come in from work, and do pack ups 4 tmz
5:00 dish out tea 5:30 wash up pots n wipe sides down.
    6pm put ds to bed
6:05 pm wash down bathroom again
6:10pm tidy up front room, empty ash pan, vacuum front room, mop laminate, do ironing, dust
7pm sit on fat bum with cuppa and go on strike til tmz

    hws that 4 a plan?
does my bum look big in this sig?

that sounds like a good plan Carrie.

    My evening plans are..

Sit on behind with a cuppa...

5:30/6ish.. feed the monsters.. and have a cuppa

Send DH to pick up freecycle stuff for nursery (christmas ornaments)

Yell for half an hour while the monsters dither about when they are meant to be getting themselves ready for bed..

    Put everyone to bed.. YIPPEE!!!

    Have another cuppa..

Have a shower.. go to the pub.. come home.. hope I don't vomit my innards outards again like I did last time..

    SLEEP!!!

I might make Ds1 load the d/w before I go to the pub and maybe fiddle with the t/d's and w/m's while food is cooking.

    Oh such fun!!

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

Not a lot done other than WM twice, and we look like a bomb has hit. On the positive side I have managed to get the house purchase back on track, at least for now.

Having a fantastically productive day. Got my kitchen and utility back into shape:

    Done:

    Made master bed
    Stripped and remade DS bed
    S&S ensuite / toilet
    Laundry wash x 2
    TD x 1
    CLEANED THE KITCHEN FLOOR :j
    Hoover downstairs
All washing up done (I miss my DW)
    Kitchen sides cleaned
    Utility tidied
    Boots & shoes cleaned
    Menu plan done
    Grocery shop done
    Dry cleaning picked up
    Post done
    Dry washing put away
    DS taken swimming
    10 books read to DS
Played computer & cars with DS

    To do:

    S&S bathroom
Laundry wash (probably about 3 or 4 but I'll aim for 1)
Iron bedding & 1 laundry wash
Finish Xmas card list as need to know how many cards left to order
    Chase mum's present
    Quick dust/tidy lounge / playroom

Party at TNG's :j I could come as a blue ars@d fly! Got any vodka...?
