I was just thinking the same!

can spend 30 minutes looking at the cakes!

Been said over and over again,,, DONT PAY

Ive just got another threatening letter off the same company...

20 days after my 28 day notice :D

Bully tactics to get you to pay, but its just a bit of paper!!

Don't you worry, I'm not paying, I'm still bloody cross about it though!!

I wrote to my local paper about this, but they haven't published my letter (no surprises there!)

There is a letter in my local rag this week though about a disabled man who came here on holiday and parked in a private car park (he thought it was Council owned) he states that he displayed his blue badge, but has still received a ticket for 80.00  He said he's going to pay, but won't be visiting my town again! If only they had published my letter, he might have seen it and looked into the legalities of it!

  • So glad I came here to check this out... I got one last week, apparently I should shop in Scotmid Bonnybridge within an hour or I'll get a charge. I really don't get why supermarkets allow this, surely they lose more business than they gain in charges (assuming they get a cut?)

My charge doesn't even have my reg no or vehicle, make, model colour etc noted on it!

I'll be putting it somewhere safe in case they persist.

    Thanks for the threads. x
