They allow 30 mins ? then decide to get one of their employees to put a scam ticket on your car, do like I did when it happened to me at sainsbury, write to the head office saying you will take your business elsewhere from now on, photocopy your receipt and say this is the minimum I spend at your shop, this is what you've lost each week, and I will recommend friends and family not to shop at morrisons any longer. Also you will contact the local press about the fact that they have people running nothing better than a nigerian 419 scam in their car park. with the scammsters, just completely ignore them.
It isn't stated that they only allow 30 mins, think they just made this up. The sad thing is all the cars on my row had these tickets, and where I live we have a large OAP population who all shop at Morrisons, I bet they will all pay up.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

If you have the time inclination, do what others on the forums have often suggested:
Go to the same Morrisons at a busy time, fill up two large trolleys to the brim with frozen food then speak to the duty manager informing him/her that you can't wait to put thro' the goods at the checkout as you must dash due to the fact you are about to exceed your 30 mins free parking time. Leave the trolleys with them. If enough people did this, they'd soon get the message.
Other than that, I fully endorse the advice to IGNORE, IGNORE, & once again IGNORE.
Relax, you & your husband have nothing at all to worry about whatever rubbish comes thro' the post.
Trust the advice of others here & on other forums who have had the same experience, some more than once. (including me).0 -

But to be honest if a company hired by Morrisons is behaving in such a manner you'd hope once everyone's wasted the store manager's time complaining about the unjust unenforceable invoices, they'd get rid of the private parking company. Guess the hoverer must have not met his targets that week.0 -
You could make it your mission to dish out leaflets telling people of the legal stature of the unenforceable invoices (often mistakenly referred to as fines) telling people not to pay.

The more I think about this, the more tempted I am, I have already sent an e-mail to my local paper, and a letter for the 'Viewpoints' page. Will be interested to see if they print them!
Tomorrow's mission is a letter to the store manager, the more I think about it the angrier I get! We have a brand new Sainsbury's being build at the moment, think they will be getting all my business as soon as they open!
Everytime I think back to him hovering near my car, I get cross, must calm myself down!!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

I spent over 90.00 today, I'm pretty sure it will be the last time I do though, as apparently your only allowed 30 mins max to do your weekly shop, after that you get a fine.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

When I have Ava with me I'm in there about 2 hours LOL! She stayed with my mum, so I could shop alone! That's what's really annoyed me though, this was probably the fastest shop I've ever done (wanted to get out in the sunshine!) and I get a blommin ticket for my efforts!!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:
