Thanks for the comment i am glad that it may be of help to others, i really didn't know what to expect when i started out, heard all sorts of nightmares ect, i think the key thing is to try and keep on top of things, and assume everything can go wrong at each stage and be prepared to react accordingly.
I hope it goes similarly well on your purchase.
Oh yeah make sure you plan all your paperless statements in advance and change them to paper.

I should be exchanging tomorrow ... took slightly longer as I wanted it too... but its all good... relatively stress free.
In the mean time, my mortgage rate come down too, so it was worth the wait!Plan
1) Get most competitive Lifetime Mortgage (Done)
2) Make healthy savings, spend wisely (Doing)
3) Ensure healthy pension fund - (Doing)
4) Ensure house is nice, suitable, safe, and located - (Done)
5) Keep everyone happy, healthy and entertained (Done, Doing, Going to do)0 -

I had a phone call as soon as i got to work from my Solicitor saying we are now the proud owners of the property and completion has been done.:beer:
4 Weeks and 4 Days from the offer being excepted.
I cannot leave work until 4pm :mad: but will speedily get to the estate agents as soon as possible0 -
