By the sounds of things we were sat on the same bank watching the same race anyway, but didn't realise it!Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. savvy wrote:After having been to Donington race track with the Renault freebie, and knowing a LOT of mse'rs went, the thought of an MSE badge came up again.
Someone did offer to arrange a meet up at Donington, but it's always difficult to co-ordinate and not everyone wants to be in a big 'group' situation. However, they may not mind stopping briefly and chatting for a few minutes, therefore if you were up for a chat you could wear the badge, and if not, don't bother with it
It could just say something like "MSE? Just ask me"and could serve a double purpose, in that non members could ask someone (free advertising), as could members who wanted to introduce themselves
Just a thought that would've been great this weekend, what do others think??
Yep - this would help if people wanted to do meets or recognise each other at this kind of thing etc, without having to carry a book
However, having looked around the site though the one thing it doesn't have is a short snappy logo that immediately associates itself with the place. Everything logo-wise is based around MoneySavingExpert.com - I know the place as MSE, but there's no MSE logo?0 -
