I am loving the holidays so far :) I Love getting to spend more time with the girls :) Had the free summer club for a few hrs for dd1 yesterday - which she LOVED!!! Bless her so is going back today and im taking the others to the park. So a nice free morning.
Have checked on line banking - and its the normal tight end of the mth but it is all how it should be :) Checked ccs just incase some magic had happened and they were suddenly lower
Last night we had somebody round to give a new boiler and central heating quote :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: £4975 later for new boiler, pipes and 7 new radiators!!!!!! Dont think we will be getting that done anytime soon......... Will also be getting more quotes ofcourse as thats just silly high and im sure it would be lower from a local person??????(Lets just hope it doesnt break down in the next few years as its soooooooo old)
Also been looking at fridge freezers and to get a reasonable one will be £300....need to get more sold on ebay!!! Nothing has bids yet but a few watchers.
Car is booked in for MOT on Fri - Please pass with flying colours and not need any work done :o

Hi Mummy - have found your diary! (subscribes).
I love the list of your challenges - I might join the list 100 items and NSD ones. I have loads of stuff to ebay but have been really busy (lazy) and have decided to list from the 1st week in August.
What lovely grandparents letting you lose on the next website. I got a few bargains but didnt go mad as my hours have been reduced sooo much. But we are managing which is the important bit.
Glad to hear little ones are well - 11 weeks DS wow how quick did that go! x

Penny - I know it is :eek: We have had another person in today from a local plummers and they have quoted us £3200 - so loads less and also includes a few different things - like moving the radiators to where we want them and a towel rail in bathroom....So loads better but still  have some body different coming tomorrow so will be interesting to see what they quote!! The water is not working through the boiler anymore and we have to use the imergen (sp??) so we know the boiler is on its last legs - and im worried to even try to see if the heating works :o but i guess i might have to give it a go to see so we know if it still works or not before the winter................:(:(:(

Hi pinky welcome to my new diary :D I'm going to my mums at the weekend so cant wait to get my parcels.

I am so stressed about all the money situation at the moe - the fridge freezer is broken!! I have not as much money as is needed for a new one :( So no idea what to do!! The boiler is broken aswell :( and the car is booked in for a MOT tomorrow so really hope its not a 'everything comes in 3's' :(:(
Am thinking if the heating doesnt work then i am going to HAVE to get a loan to pay for a new one - there is no way i can get that money together anytime soon (like even in the next 5 years :() I also cant see any way of paying of the ccs as can only ever pay the min and never any extra so most is going on interest!! Applied for a new card the other day to do a balance transfer on some of it but got declined!! :( So dont even know if we would get a loan for the boiler!! Have been looking into loan amounts tonight and if we could get a loan and am considering getting enough to cover the ccs aswell. I know its not a good idea to do it but i cant see a ending!!! If we get a loan they are saying it would be about £40 more then the min we pay at the moe and it included the extra for the boiler and then all of it would be paid in 5 years!! Would have to make sure i cancelled all the ccs as soon as i have paid them off!! Then i could (if ever have any extra money) pay of the overdraft and then save to maybe pay of the loan early - but not to sure if i would ever be able to as we cant make over payments on the ccs at the moe.......Going to go and have a play with the snowball and see what it comes out with and see if it will work better or not...........

Hi, just found your diary, how do you manage with 4 under 6? I have 3 aged 6 and under and they are a nightmare, my eldest two argue all the time, there is 13 months between my eldest two.

How nice of your mum to let you use her Next account. I bought my girls some stuff from the Sales queued up outside the shop at 2.50am as they said on their website they opened at 4am but they didn't open until 5am so had a long wait, luckily I was only about 15th when I first got there although by 5am some people had pushed in the front as they knew the people there and just came up and stood with them.

My parents are great too, they have taken my 3 girls to stay at theirs today until Sunday, it is the first time DD3 has gone, she was 2 in May, I hope she doesn't miss me too much as I've not been without her before (not including when I had my gall bladder out as she was a baby then).

Good luck with all your challenges, I need to start up again, have stopped as we remortgaged and paid off a big chunk of our debts but I still have about £3k or more left to pay off so need to get cracking as I want to be totally credit card debt free.

    Will subscribe to your diary.

Hi TMD thanks for saying hi. Its madness in our house with all the little ones - But i love it :):):) Makes everything so worth while. Good luck with the last of your cc debt - im sure you will do great getting rid of it :)

I have just look into it all tonight and have decided we are going to see if we get a loan and then take it from there. It will be better for us in a way as we will then have a end date for the loan and know it will be paid of in 5 years! Long time but i really do not see us getting anywhere sooner then that anyway. I did the snowball and if we pay the same amount on to the ccs it will take us till aug 2018 so 3 years after the loan has been paid. But i think it would be longer as we would only pay the min :( Have had a good chat with DH aswell and he has kinda got it now i think and has agreed that we will cancel all the ccs so that we can never spend more on them and what cash we have is it! Also have told him figures and that we need to save some of the money for car tax xmas etc.......So fingers crossed it will work out for us and that we get the loan.
If we dont and just get the boiler fixed it will be a extra £80 a mth just for that so £30 extra for the loan is much better........
Arrrrrr i hate this debt and will be soooooooo glad in years to come when we finally get it sorted....
Now just have to sort out a new Fridge freezer (please things on ebay sell well so i can put it towards it) and that the car passes its MOT tomorrow without needing much to it.........

I definitely couldn't handle any more, I get very frustrated when they argue all the time, DD1 winds DD2 up, she's very bossy too. DD2 gets upset very easily and even trying to take a t-shirt or dress off over her head if she can't do it she cries in frustration, it's very draining. DD3 has just got into the habit of taking her nappy off so I have to watch her as yesterday she took it off outside, came in the house, walked out of the front room and lifted her long top up to expose her bum and she had it all over her bum.

I'm still adding to my sealed pot so am hoping to have a good bit of money to pay for Xmas presents this year. I must start doing the Payment a Day too.

We really need some new settee's as one is ripped where they keep standing up on the arms to reach the top of the unit and the other one the cushion covers shrunk when OH put them in the washing machine so now there is a big gap.

your dds sound the same as mine!! lol. dd1 is sooooo bosy and they both get sooo upset with things when they cant do it - and blame me if they do anything wrong - even if im in the other room etc. DD3 is 16mths and she can take nappies of aswell, ive just started using reusable nappies and had to get some with poppers which for the time being she cant undo but with the disposible ones she has them of in a flash - as i found out one day after her nap_pale_
I starting to think of xmas aswell - have been saving my £2 coins so that i have a little from that come dec and also will start a new change pot so can use it for a few treats or something near xmas....thats the plan anyway. DH is a nightmare at xmas and wants to spend soooooo much and get a many big presents as possible - going to have to rein him in a little this yeah - which he will not like!!!!!! Have dd1s bday in sept so will get that sorted and then start looking for cheap presents i think
Hope you find a good sofa and it doesnt cost a fortune...

Glad it is not just my girls then. Luckily my girls have all had their birthdays now, DD3 is in May, DD1 in June and DD2 in July, OH is July too and mine is February so only my Dad, Mum and my brother in Aug and Sept, my Nan is in October but she's very ill at the moment so not sure she will make it to her birthday, if she does she will be 94 on Halloween. So just got Xmas to think about now. Have just ordered a couple of things from Boots as they have 3 for 2 on lots of their toys and I also got a photo album that holds 200 photos and if you buy one you get one free so saved £28 altogether. I also bought lots last year when Sainsbury's had their half price sale, stayed up until midnight and got lots of stuff so will be doing the same again this year if they do the same.
