  • Oh what a nightmare, if you didn't receive it you have nothing to worry about its their !!!! up and how naughty and cheeky of them. I would imagine they should record all calls and as rags said - you would have had to sign for it, if they cannot prove that you signed for it - in my opinion they have no leg to stand on. Its un-neccassary worry for you and i would be just as worried as you even tho its not your fault! Let us know x
  • Will just wait and see i guess.....
This day in the year is the hardest for me so im a little down today! But i WILL perk up and be fine later for the fireworks for the girls.....
I got a letter from eon saying my fixed term was coming to a end and it was going up - booo. So i did a comparison online and it said the cheapest from me was from eon but a different rate so i phoned and got changed onto that!! Should save a little but more importantly not go up the £130 it was predicting a year!!!!
Car insurance is due for renewal and at the mo we pay £39 a mth and they wanted to put it up to £56 a mth!!!!!What a high rise!! Will be looking on the internet when i get a chance and getting some new quotes...

  • Mine and OH's car insurance both had big increases this year too. We shopped around but couldn't find much better than what we were offered, guess all companies are putting their prices up now :(

Any particular reason why you are down today mummy?

  • Hope i get it a little cheaper or atleast get some cashback!! I was shocked by such a big increase but i guess they must all be doing it?? :(

Something horrible happened 5 years ago today and it still gets me a little every year! :( Its part of the whole reason we are where we are with money - spending often gives you a little boost doesnt it.....just doesnt last long :( Im loads better then i used to be though and most of the time im fine - just horrible its such a day that it reminds me....

My car insurance last year was £250 or something and coz of my little accident earlier this year - i didn't claim but the dude i hit claimed off me.... my insurance has shot up to almost three times that!!!!!! ooppps!!!!!
  • HI mummy, hope your feeling a little brighter today, sending big hugs your way.
  • Thank you all. We got through the day :) Went to some fireworks and for the first year the girls were not screaming lol. They all loved it. It was just in our village and cost £7.50 for a family ticket so a nice cheap night.
Havent done a lot more DFW this weekend. Just went to the BIL last night so the kids had fun and didnt cost us anything. They are skint at the moe so it was nice as we brought some food and didnt get a take away.
Still need to sort the car insurance.....

  • Have got a sickness bug going round the kids at the mo. DD2 was poorly at the weekend and now dd3 has it!! Seems to not be lasting long though so thats good. Im just waiting for the others to get it aswel and hope little Ryan will be ok.....
Have rejoined the Grocery challeng again, going for a high amount to start with as I know i need so much this mth and dont want to go over budget and give up. So i have £450 for the mth - £100 a week and a extra £50 for bread milk etc inbetween..... Last week i spent £100 and im sure it will be that again!! Finding it hard to get everything and it not be under TBH. It includes food all house bits, baby milk and dog food....... Need to plan better and do more baking.
Need to do some food for DHs lunch - but have no ideas. He like to bring in left overs like spag bol which he can reheat in the microwave. But I cant think of many things...
Having lots of cuddles with the poorly one today bless her.

  • Hi mummy, my OH takes things like cottage pie, sausage casserole and mash, chunky HM soup, HM meat and tatty pie, anything stodgy that will fill him up.
