I was selling a ladies rasberry pink suede jacket size 16 - in the description I described the item as only worn a couple of times, mint condition, selling due to weight loss. All measurements were stated including length of the sleeves on the jacket.

Received an email from a member asking " Could you tell me are both sleeves on the jacket the same length? Only I have one arm slightly shorter than the other!!

Well after picking myself up of the floor laughing I replied " Thanks for your enquiry sorry but both the sleeves are the same length, but I could always chop a bit off one sleeve for you if you wish - just let me know whether its your right arm or you left thats shorter."

On an auction for one of our blue displays we got
"Hi if I win this auction can I have a blue display?"

The guy didn't win the auction, bid on a red display and won that.
He had to return it for a replacement because of a fault and asked if we could change the display to Amber!
By this point we were thouroughly confused!
  • Cheekiest question ever was on a pair of size 5 pumps I was sellling.
Q - Hi I've been after these pumps and I see you have them in my size. Could you tell me where you got them from because if you are selling them you must be making a profit and I want them at the price you got them for?

    Doh..................

  • Hmm King I think we may be distant cousins.

Seriously, the person asking the question that started this thread won the auction. I still can't understand the question so I hope she is happy with her purchase!
