AAARRGGH! We had the paperwork ready for the claim before we went on holiday and now we're home and the bills are here ready to claim, I can't find them anywhere!!!! I have the customer number and things, just not the actual sheet I need to send with it. Does anyone happen to have a spare? Maddest thing is that I actually called them and asked for another one as soon as my phone arrived just in case we lost the paperwork and I needed a new one. Now I can't find either    Teach me to be so organised! I have a suspicion one of the little ones has fed it all into the shredder ....
If you have any idea of how to solve this problem, that'd be great

What a joke, why can't they accept a scanned pdf? Yet another way of ripping people off. I hope you get something sorted.0 -
your options are:
1) threaten legal action, saying using their actual form printed and not a pdf is unreasonable, and that recently (see some previous threads) when they ran out of forms they were issuing pdfs for people to print themselves.
Might be worth writing to the cpw legal team, usually though you have to start a case through moneyclaim to get their attention.
2) take out another contract, get the form, return the phone. or even better, get the form, call them to say you havent got it and get a spare.
3) print the form on the acutal glossy type paper so its not so easy for them to tell its a print out.
4) if im not mistaken osps mention the voucher and the importance of the voucher on the actual voucher itself so if you didnt get it then how were you supposed to know about it? (assuming you pretend you never got it). Could be an angle in a court of law maybe.
5) ask someone on these boards who has just taken out a contract to call and get a replacement (claiming they never received the vouchers) and that might be a way, but might not make your deadline.ummm...0 -
Thanks for this. Since it's my husband's contract, I'm not sure how much I can do myself, but I'll try tonight (or maybe get him to).
Thanks also to the kind soul who offered to sell me their form for £20, but I'd rather not be a further £20 out when they try to get out of paying again - I was rather hoping someone might have sent in a pdf print out before and got a cashback from it.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0 -
If its the one which is A5 in size with the cashback claim sections (gift redemtion certificate) which are cut off for each cashback I think I've an original still from them. PM with your address if its that and I'll post you it todayWelcome, rogerramjet.

Hi rogerramjet, do you still have the claim form? Unfortunately Onestopphoneshop did not send me a claim form and it is now more than 14 day since I bought the phone contract.
Anyone might be able to spare a copy if they have one?
After the above comments, I assume pdf is not accpted then, right?

Okay here is the bit that confuses me. If OSPS send out the vouchers by email as they do then how can they say they do not accept them when the cashback is claimed using them. I would love to hear their answer if it went to law.0

Why will is pdf not acceptable if they are sending them out to other people? Contract terms have to be fair in law.
This is from the OFT:

Can you those who are told they cannot use PDF forms complete this survey for OFCOM and inform the mobile service provider that you have informed OFCOM about it. (Strangely telecoms companies will be become more helpful once you have told them you have informed OFCOM. This is because the more complaints that reach OFCOM them more likely they are too be investigated for poor customer service.)
