  • DAY 2 for me today.

This morning was not as bad as yesterday. Yesterday in the school playground with the kids i was sweating and thought i was going too faint!:o

Today i was ok, although it was pi$$ing down, and was fighting with umbrellas, kids, and buggies!!

Got a copy of the Nicotine Trick book last night, very very interesting! Will be reading it from cover to cover.

So eager to stop I did a very un DFW thing and went to local bookshop £9.99 Allen Carr 'Only Way To Stop Permanently' big thick bible !

  • I stopped 3 years ago through sheer bloody determination and will power. I didn't use any gum/lozenges or anything, but from what I've heard from most people that do the Allen Carr book works better for most people than nictonine replacement products. My girlfriend has tried the lozenges and gum and nearly choked on them, she's trying using patches.

I didn't use any replacements as I said, but I did use Nytol to help me sleep, don't use them every night though or they can get addictive.
If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.

If you do like it please hit the thanks button.

    Hey all,

I have passed the one week mark! IW 20Hr 22Mins to be exact, but really wanting a fag. On patches so nothing to do with the nicotine, just miss the feel. Had a meeting today and my boss had just had a cig, I jumped up to the front and sat next to her and kept sniffing her! She thought I'd lost the plot :rotfl:

How about everyone else, any of you embarressed yourselves in the process yet?
