hi if your from samsun you see the mesadge about the s6
I cannot see any message about 'the s6'.

If you want some help on this forum, I am sure you would get much more if you were able to write in real sentences. Using real words would also go a long way to helping others to understand your problem.

My Samsung s6 edge recently CAUGHT FIRE whilst on charge (with the same charger it came with) ... luckily I was nearby to blow it out .. the only damage was to the charging port hence I have bought a wireless charger that Vodafone will refund and promise to repair the phone hence they believe they have rectified the issue.... this incident could of burnt my house to the ground and maybe worse ... Vodafone aren't taking me seriously, any advise on my next move??

    Was your house damaged?

What do you want Vodafone to do?

Everytime I cross a road I could be killed. I wonder whether I should seek compensation from the motorist... but which one? After all none of them hit me but all of them could've killed me.
  • On the beginning of November, I gave my phone to “Nokia and Samsung Warranty Repair Centre” in Eastbourne to do the following work: To fix microphone as distorted during normal calls. During loudspeaker I cannot be heard from recipient. To fix battery as it intermittently charges.

All this was to be done under warranty. The Eastboune store realised that these issues for the Samsung S6 Edge needed to be sent to the higher centre of Bristol Samsung Support Centre (Bristol). They therefore sent it on my behalf.

However upon receiving my phone back, I have had the following problems:
    Microphone was not fixed.
Top part of phone display was not sealed correctly at Bristol repair centre as adhesive glue is visible now.

This has now made the phone out of warranty at other stores, unless I pay £170 for a new screen, however, Bristol claims they are happy to fix it as they only have to reseal it and noted that this issue has occurred in their past experience before.

Due to me not wanting to lose money from Bristols’ incompetence, I phoned Samsung customer care to send me a jiffy bag and create a serial order for me to send to Bristol. Samsung created a Serial Order and said they would send a Jiffy Bag however, 5 working days had passed and I had still not received it.

I then called Samsung customer care centre, only to be told that it had been cancelled and I would have to send it to a closer repair centre or contact the Eastbourne store that sent it to Bristol. Both of which I have already done to no avail. However, I have already been told in the past that only Bristol can fix my issue due to them causing it. I am now at a loss of how to resolve this as I am not being allowed to fix my phone at Bristol for bureaucracy reasons I do not understand.

Anyone can help me? Sorry for the long message.
  • I have bought two televisions and two wireless speakers from Samsung in the last month. The speakers connected, then didn't connect, then went quiet, then only one worked. I called the helpline and after over an hour of 'remote access' the call centre assistant admitted they couldn't fix it and they would get an engineer to call. No call. I called again, was promised a call back. No call. I emailed CEO's office no reply. I called again. Promised a call back. No call. Emailed CEO again. No response. Tweeted and got a response saying they would look into it. Heard nothing more. Called again and was promised it would be 'escalated' and promised an update call. No call. Called today and told 'all we can do is escalate it to Head Office again'. No one senior to speak to. Blocking at every turn. Understand now why all the managers hide...their service is dire and they would spend all day apologising to customers for their dreadful customer service.
  • Samsung's claimed "amazing service" is a joke. 5 service call outs for the same fault in the last 12 months. Not a single call back received from their service call centre. Problem escalated to head office by the service centre 2 weeks ago and still no feedback despite being advised that the oven should be replaced or fully refunded. Been without a new oven for over 6 weeks during this last year. I certainly will look elsewhere before I consider buying anything else from Samsung. Are they trying to force me to buy another oven at my expense even though they are failing to meet consumer rights? There are plenty of better products and "amazing service" providers out there. Has anyone else similar experiences?

Glad you got that off your chest?

Now take a deep breath and maybe start your own thread if you have something specific to ask about consumer rights. There's also a "Praise, Vents, Warnings" sub-forum if you prefer.
  • Thanks for your response.

I couldn't identify how to start your own thread. Any help would be appreciated
