Title Deeds change of name and Deed of Gift

Last July my late mother left me her property in her will and probate has been completed. In Feb of this year I rented out the property and in receipt of monthly income. I contacted the Land Registry to find out the property has never been registered and they sent me the necessary forms to change to my name (which I hav'nt done yet). However, I find on the title deeds that my late fathers name is still included and mum never did anything about it - I assume his death cert. will suffice. I am also thinking that for tax purposes it will be better to utilise my husbands tax allowance and whilst I included his name as a landlord of the tenants agreement I find on his tax return that the property has to be registered in his name as well. What forms will I need to gift him half the house and where do I send them. What do I produce to the Land Registry to show I have gifted him and that his name is to be included on the land registry? I am happy to let him have half as presumably if we ever split up half of it would go to him anyway? Is this the best way or do you have any suggestions? Thanks.:shocked:
