A couple more ideas from when I was looking earlier this year:

‘I love you’ in different languages
Words connected to a hobby you share (such as football stadiums for football)
Your heritage – Scottish could be tartan, kilt, loch ness monster (!)
If you’re having a seasonal wedding, words that fit with that season
    Colours connected to your theme

I love the cow idea though - so unique but still relevant to you!

were having poker related names - OH is a fanatic, and we spent lots of time playing online together in the early days! i say have a think about something personal to you both, or something that links to your theme if you have one.

  • The cow breed names idea sounds good!

I've been to weddings where the table names were local places of interest (often accompanied with a postcard of said place as part of the table name card), and one where the tables were named after Inuit words for snow (although that might not work if your wedding is in high summer!).

Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")

We keep discussing it and come up with some cool ideas but then can only think of 4 examples! We are constantly in stitches - even suggested having Halloween ideas but his mother is known by part of the family as the devil and he calls his grandma the witch! Probably not too good an idea - it could cause offence! I am thinking the cow idea could be the one! It could be really good - have to ask my friend if she can make balloon cows?
