evening everyone :hello:
Taken me this long to get on here after our long weekend away, back to work on Tues then came home and waited till Tesco delivered and went to bed.
Lovely to see the family but was very hectic, why can't they all live in the same town???? lol
Back to work on Tues, not so good. A lot going on there. Was actually a brave Dazi and asked for a rise....wasn't really expecting the manager to laugh and say don't we all :o so not feeling very valued at the moment and am doing job search BIG time.
Looking forward to our holiday, we are camping down the new forest and DD and her family are there at the same time :j we won't be in each others pockets but am (maybe) looking forward to DGD unzipping our tent in the morning :rotfl:
 to lamewolf - i only post now and then and I don't think what I say is that interesting:D

Evening all,
Thought I'd better post in case we get washed away overnight! Its been raining here for about eight hours, and only stopped for about fifteen minutes earlier! We had decided to do Orange Wed and tak gran to the movies to see ToyStory3, but cancelled at the last minute as I was worried what would happen in the rain with possible flooding etc., and we couldn't be stuck outside with gran in case her oxygen runs out. Don't know if it would have been a good idea to have her out in this weather anyway! Turns out she was having similar toughts, so we have taken a raincheck.
The painting never got started today, as it was too soggy and I just wasn't in the mood! Hakuna matata! I did do a cookery lesson with the boys though, I taught them to make tomato sauce and we made pizzas with some 5p Ciabbatas I had in the freezer, the wee one chopped the onion, which was a great job (I watched from behind my fingers, for fear of him losing his), and it turned delicious, we portioned it a put it in the freezer, and cooked pasta for lunch tomorrow as we'll be out in the morning, so we can come home and have a quick lunch of pasta and sauce. Then we made the refridgerator cookies one of the ladies posted on the it's tough now thread the other day, which they loved, and I can't eat unless I put the oven on to cook them
I'm glad to hear today went well enough Flutterby. And its good to see you back, Camelot, I was thinking about you just before I saw your post.
I am also glad to see that my bullying ways worked, and LoneWolf came in for a visit. Don't be a stranger, lady!
Have a nice evening all,

Evening All
Very hot and sticky again today; my poor garden is starting to resemble a dust bowl
We need rain desperately down south.
Had to go to the Drs today cos I got bitten by something while I was watering the garden last night and my arm has swelled up like a balloon - left with antibiotics and antihistimines
Just had chicken and salad tonight, it really is too hot to eat at the moment - that should help with the weight loss
Jc I hope your boys had a brilliant 18th _party_
JackieG That's a good one "stretched from having babies" - I am that stretched I must have had 20 :rotfl:
Hester (((Hugs)))
Camelot I am glad you had a relaxing holiday
Lame wolf Nice to see you posting
Well I am going to have a nice cool shower and hopefully get some sleep tonight
Sweet Dreams xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
