Hester I agree with Csarina. There's naughty and then there's downright dangerous. It needs to be reported, preferably to the police.0

Afternoon all,
Me thinks I struck a bit of a chord yesterday re the weight loss:cool:
Well done JackieG keep up the good work.
Feeling much more positive today. Went out for a long walk with my wonderful DH last night and he is going to help with the fitness (he is very fit and is going to be my personal trainer!) and I am going to get much better at planning what I eat. I am no longer buying crisps as I know they are my weakness, the kids will just have to manage without. I am determined this is not going to beat me.
OS wise I really need to get the house in shape. Everywhere is feeling like it needs a good clean so that should burn off some calories.
Just off to do some yoga on the Wii then on with the cleaning (another thing I'm working on, prioritising my health before all the other jobs)
Have a good day everybody J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Hello everybody,
Good luck Flutterby, just in case you haven't had your interview yet
Csarina....what a beautiful garden, congratulations!
JackieG....good luck with painting.
Warm here but we are having light showers as well, DD2 and grand-daughters have gone out for the day in my car, so I have no excuse not to do some housework, going to sort freezer in a minute, going to make some pasta sauce with leftover mince mix from yesterday, not sure if I have anything else, hope that OH is not still in grumpy mood and eats it!
2 lots of washing done, cats and dog fed, although think that Kerry has helped herself to some of the cat food, so will have to give them a top up in a minute.
Going to do some more packing for Saturday, as need to be very careful not to take excess...3 adults, 2 children (and their huge seats), with all requirements for a week to be slotted into a small Clio...was very good at this when we took 7 small children away 25 years ago, but have lost the knack!
Back later, have a good day all

Afternoon all
Thank you all for your kind good luck messages :A I managed a sneeky peek in work so read most of them before it.
Interview went okay. Oddly I wasn't that nervous. I actually slept properly the night before, which is unusual for me. The presentation bit went very well and the intervoew bit went ok. Not sure if I have done enough to get the job over my more experienced colleague but I'm just pleased I had the interview. It was quite a relaxed informal setting, and i knew both of the interviewers. I should know tomorrow but am not holding my breath and won't lose sleep over it.
I left work early cos my boss told me to go home! so not sure what to do with myself! :rotfl:
I'm off to Belfast Friday morning for long weekend :j, and travelling up to stay at my brother's tomorrow pm so I really should tidy the flat and start packing but I'm not in the mood yet!
I may treat myself to a chinese for tea as it's payday
There are 2 guys painting the walls and ceilings of the communal hallway/staircase of my flats. I'm a bit annoyed that the management company did not inform us in advance  I had to inch my way down dust sheet covered stairs in my interview clothes and heels!
Have a great day all

Having had a PM from jackieglasgow yesterday, thought I ought to just pop in and say Hi.
Not really had anything interesting to tell you all *shruggy smilie* so I'd stopped posting here.
Anyways... er.... *roots around in brain for an OS bit* ... oh yes, I have my 1st ever banana cake in the oven at the mo, also an apple crumble.
Will be having another canine guest from 8th to 17th August - a Cavalier King Charles.
Hope all is as well as can be with you all - have to say I'd like one of those downpours some parts of the country have been getting; MK is like an oven today!.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Nice to see you Lame Wolf....you think that my life is interesting?? Don't go away and leave us again please

Just had a nice suprise my eldest DD who is off on her hols tomorrow to Lanzarote just popped in with a big bunch of flowers ,a box of chocolates and a packet of stem ginger cookies for me .What a lovely lass she is.She has been working flat out to get everything done at her work and she is now off for the next six weeks as she works in a school.
Tomorrow after the school run I am going to get my hair trimmed as I am begining to resemble an old english sheepdog.I swear my hair grows quicker in the hot weather I am hoping it will be a bit cooler tonight as last night was very sticky and humid and I didn't get much sleep.Off to have some dinner now ,probably be a tuna sald as its still too hot to cook much, still it must be good for the waistline0 -
Hiya everyone,
another day of pouring rain here in Birkenhead, hoping it clears before Monday before we go to pontins. We did have sunshine for a couple of hours so I didnt get soaked doing the school run!
Ds1 had his last day of foundation stage today - his teacher seemed very happy with the card he made her, he was really chuffed.
Were having a day at hoe tomorrow so lots of cleaning, have sinusitus so havent done much but things are piling up again so better start. Boys are having a dvd day along with playdoh and moon sand, apparently, they have it all sorted!
Celebrity masterchef has started - something decent to watch at last
Take care everyone xxMum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -
Saved the tiny bit of curry that was left after yesterday but was too small for a proper meal. I served it to my son in a pitta bread for his after school snack. He loved it! :jOld-Style Enthusiast :j0

After I have dropped the boys off it will be back home for me and a tidy up of my crafting stuff off the dining room table as I want to get things put away as I have visitors coming next week so must have a grand clear-up this week.
I do all my crafting on our dining table too, it drives my boyfriend nuts as even though he has bought me storage drawers there is always some paper or stamps on the table.
Had a scan at the hospital today on my bladder, rather painful but at least I am on the way to finding out why it keeps going into spasm and weeing about 20 times a day! I have been anti OS and stopped by the card shop and spend £16 on card making stuff, oops!
It is very hot and sticky here, the dogs couldn't settle last night, I had to put some cold water on the puppy. Hugs to all xHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0
