    You're doing brilliantly.
I started the C25K programme ages ago but ended up with a bad knee. I just got over that and was desperate to get back to it again and then the snow started so my trainers are still up in the wardrobe itching to be used so I am feeling even more inspired after reading your diary.

    Aww thanks LIT and twinmum

Its funny that before you posted I thought no one read this diary as it wasn't as snappy as most of them out there and its become a place for me to record my thoughts and put it down somewhere

As for the running I really miss it atm due to illness then assignment then snow and ice! 3 weeks off now and itching to get to 10k - was aiming to get there by Dec and almost at 8k now - might risk a run tomorrow if I go out early enough and run on the road - hmm not sure yet will see!

Had a massive lie in this morning for me after all the travelling this week so not sure how early I'll be up and about tomorrow plus feel a bit coldy

Could do with some exercise though as feeling a bit squashy and bloated after lots of food!

    Some ideas for 2011

After a dreadful and couldn't wait to see the end of 2009 a much more enjoyable 2010 arrived. Now this year is almost over its time to think about plans for 2011

I achieved most of the things I set out to do in 2010 which made a nice change from forever procrastinating about them as per!

    2011 Ideas

    Summer holiday
Already booked and started planning for.
Deposit paid leaving £222 to pay.
Still to get nice pair of sandals out of season and a plug in chiller to use in the pod, an extension cable and a new pair of trail shoes
Check kettle works on induction hob
Check which pans work on this to buy
Also check out a cheap gas cooking stove too

    Credit Cards
This is the year I really need to tackle them. I put them off and put them off endlessly and now this is one of the few things holding me back still

So need to work out a repayment plan

    How do I do this?
    1. Check out the CC Board for advice
    2. Have a look at balances and see how much I can afford to pay off
    3. Alongside this I want to rejoin the NSD thread and GC thread to help reign in the spending and free up the money to repay the cards
When I pay a card off I will have the biggest smile on my face and then tackle the next one and so on until the end. By which time I may have almost repaid my bank loan which has a long way to go yet. Still tiny steps and all that

What else can I do for debt busting

    Phone/TV/Broadband package
Check with Virgin when the contract is up
Have a think about changing to another provider and what to do with the phoneline as on cable

    CC repayment
    NSD
    GC
    Sort out broadband etc

Are the priorities for the 1st 4mths of next year and then review and see how far I've got

That'll do for now and I'll add to this list with some more thoughts later on

Just give them up and let go and regain your taste buds! It can be done believe me and believe in yourself that you can do it!

As for me 2010 was the year I tackled many of the things I wanted to do - start exercising again, cut down on drinking days, garden more and have some holidays and did all of this! Sold most of the excess things hanging about the house and lost some weight (slowly putting this back on now with the chocs for Christmas!)

Here it is, the total of 4 credit cards

    CC1 £2K
    CC2 £2K
    CC3 £3K
    CC4 £3K

feel a bit sick now but hey its part of facing up to things and then making the changes to clear them. Then with all the hard work to never ever get in this state again

Think I'll try a £2K one first to pay off

    £2K/12mths £166.67 per mth repayment
    £2K/15mths £133.34 per mth repayment
    £2K/18mths £111.12 per mth repayment

Or pay off 2 x £2K at once over 24mths
    £2K CC1 £83.33 per mth
    £2K CC2 £83.33 per mth

    Or pay off 2 x £2K over 30mths
    £2K CC1 £66.67 per mth
    £2K CC2 £66.67 per mth

Meaning over 2 years could have paid off 2 cards leaving another 2 to pay off. Hmm going to take some time

    Next plan
Total £10K/60mths/5yrs = £166.67 per mth over 4 CC £41.50 to each card per month
£10K/48mths/4yrs = £208.34 per mth over 4 CC = £52.09 to each card per mth

Now if I do this 2nd plan I could stick to the payment plan per mth and recalculate the totals each 4 or 6mths and adjust the repayments accordingly. This looks like I could do this....

For once I think I've come up with something I could stick too. I'm aiming for 4yrs at this point to pay them off. Hopefully it'll come down quicker than this

Bring on 2011 the real start of becoming debt free and getting closer to the DFD of 2015

I've done the preparatory work, its taken some time to get there and now its the long ascent to the debt free summit
