Hi Lula, just buy a packet pea seeds - they only take a couple of weeks to sprout and then grow quite quickly and then plant some more a week or 2 later to get some successional sowing. If only I was that organised!

My grocery budget is disappearing rapidly after an expensive shop on Thursday of £52.52 and then £11 yesterday and £9 in the fish market. This leave me with £27.43 for the rest of the month. Can I do it? I'll be giving it a good try! I have loads of food in that I'm aiming to use up this month and will only buy what I need eg fresh fruit and veg. I have lots of rice and pasta, tinned tomatoes etc - so if I can't find anything to eat I'll have pasta and tomato sauce!

Today is lots of essay writing, couple of hours in the garden potting on and seed planting, HHI then more essay writing and also make a nice tea!

Aiming for a NSD today too.

    Good luck with yours Lula

Just had a look on sainsbugs at some recipes to use up what I have in and got some good ideas. Kidney beans soaking to use tomorrow in a recipe to freeze

Garden swept again - lots of tree debris at this time of year. Also sorted out the bulbs from their pots to go in the garden for next year and stored some to replant later this year as it was very cheering to see them come in in the early spring/late winter.

Tomorrow I'll plant some more seeds as I'm now trying to make inroads into my assignment. 300 words to go and 1.5 answers to write and lots of rewriting to make more sense

I'll be back later on with a hopefully happier update of how its all going!

OMG! I have worked out I have £9 per week left for the GC or £6 if I include the coming week. I'm planning on not buying anything this week so I can get some NSDs in too and use up what I have in too. Let me see how I get on!

Declaring NSD 1 today - good start to the month :D

    Firstly - NSD 2 today - great!

Secondly - finished assignment at last - might need a little tweak or I might submit it as it is but I need a break now and off in the garden for an hour or so

Thirdly - made the lentil and bean loaf using some of the dried bean stocks I have and its much nicer than it sounds. Will slice it up to freeze for some quick and easy teas over the next few weeks/

Fourthly - just about to demolish the last bit of chocolate in the house as a reward!

Phew its in and submitted. No need to worry about it now its gone and results are a long time off yet. Will have tomorrow off and then start the revision as I'm sure the next few weeks will fly be and the exam will be here in a blink of an eye!

Planted a few more salad seeds and watered most of the garden. Will do a bit more at the weekend especially if I keep up with the housework this week.

    Plan for this week
    Usual flying around each room
    Mealplan meals
    Physio and vote on Thurs
Wed and Fri revision - read a chapter
    Sat - revision/garden/town
    Sun - revision/garden/who knows?

NSD 3 in a row so far

Feeling a bit plumper tonight as I'm not exercising and have lost my exercise mojo while having physio to sort out this running problem. Planning to do some tomorrow as I know I'll feel better if I do plus when I restart running it won't be such a shock!

Well I did it - something I have thought about for a long time.

I've applied for a colour analysis as I want to know what colours to spend my money on and to make worthwhile purchases that suit me rather than not!

I've worked out some colours that suit me by wearing a jumper that loads of people told me really suited me including a woman I did not know well at all. So with best foot forward I try and find some other colours that suit me the same!

Looking forward to it when it happens!
