Can you prevent your sold price showing on sites like Mouseprice?

If you are selling, no.
If you are buying, yes - don't register the purchase with the Land Registry. (you'll get a few other problems though).0 -
Yes, but only by selling in such a way that the information won't reach mouseprice. e.g. by selling to a company, by being repossessed and put through auction.
So no.0 -
Does not registering title with the LR pose some problems?
I was under the impression that in the absence of written deeds and the like then it is this entry that proves ownership?
Of course if the purchase is mortgaged then the question is academic as the lender will insist on the entry to lodge their interest.0 -
Thanks. The only real reason was that one agent has been quite nasty about what we will achieve, just because we didn't choose him. As it happens he was right but I don't want to give him the satisfaction of gloating. Being childish really, me and him.:rotfl:0

learn from it...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
The last place I bought didn't show on mouseprice etc. And the place I sold before that didn't either. So there is a way.0
