remember ttcm bought at 73.9p per share, so even at 150p he has doubled his money !
almost for free !Karma is a wonderful thing.0 -

haha you dumb *ss steve, the trick is to buy underperforming stock that you think will turn around like TTMCM not to buy it AFTER the whole world knows how good it is
Lets hope those results are good so you can get your money back eh!!!!

Yant
I can afford to be a dub *ss because I haven't got a mortgage 3 times my salary or a 15K student loan.
Mind you, at 24, like you, I was also an expert on everything.Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0 -
You cant be an expert on the stockmarket as its always a bit of a gamble.
When a stocks gone up about 5 times in value i wouldnt be buying it though, its the equivilent of late in the day getting into a goldrush no matter how good it seems. I always get stocks that are at teh low end of there price, the city guys arnt recommending them and maybe have been hit by some bad news but not too much like financial. Works for me so far, not going to make me a millionaire but have had gains of 20-80% before, some went on to go to 3-400% but i made my money and quit while ahead. One time i quit while i was ahead a city gold rush on the stock was still occuring, ie everyone saying buy still yet it had already doubled. I cut and run 6 months later up and down it then went bust.0 -
I didn't realise anyone had ressurected this
I sold some at £1.90, some more at £1.70 odd, but still hold some because I'm still convinced they'll go to over £2-00.
The reason I sold some wasn't because I wasn't confident in CCT, but rather because I'd found another goody I wanted to stick some money into. The first was Leadcom (LEAD) of which I bought £9K at 50p, then another £14K at 59p - have been up to 74p, currently around 70p, but I think this one is a very good company & if/when they get their orders from Indian telecoms orders they'll shoot up rapidly.
The other is Pace (PIC) which I bought £7K into my ISA at about 94p. I was still debating whether or not to do the same for the wife when they took off & shot up to £1.30 in a day - D'oh! However, I still bought the full £7K for the wifes ISA at £1.30ish because I think they could double from here over the next 12-18 months.
If you want to research either of those I suggest the bulleting boards at ADVFN - my user name at ADVFN is "studhaves" which is an anagram of my name - not a comment on my prowess as some seem to think
Good Luck!0 -
Pace (PIC) trading update tomorrow morning - hopefully it'll go up some more but you can never tell
Fingers crossed0
