Ok, I have a name, and a bank account number.....but still no response to my voicemail message to the real owner, who is, according to his office on holiday. So, I am not sure what to do now.0

I would until the real owner gets back from holiday. My daughters are my world0
-
I am hoping he will check his voicemail messages even though he is away.0

What about sending him an email?
Im hooked on this, Please let us know what the real owner says!
I also think if it is a scam, the real owner will be very grateful to you. If the ebay add is nothing to do with him, and is indeed a scam, any investigations are bound to involve him at some point, as the owner.
My Naughty side is telling me to send lots of silly questions to the ebay ad, just to waste his time, but im holding back because i'm a good girl;)0 -
I just looked up the name on FB, and it is a very unusual eastern european name and there are only 6 people with the same name, but none in the location the bank acount sort code/ ebay detail suggests.
I am just about to google the real owner, now.0 -
Ok, I have managed to find out quite a lot about the real owner, the villa is definitely his and has been stayed in by some famous people. He will probably not return my call, as he is the CEO of a large company and it is very suceessful, he will have staff to answer phones etc!!0

Just has another email from seller giviing me his email address so that I can send the scanned banking receipt. I had asked if he had a website so that I could see further pics (the real owner has a personal website and the villa is advertised on several other sites which all show the same calendar and availabilty) seller said he didnt have a site which is why he is using ebay.
So it is now clear it is a scam, but the owner has still not got back to me. I may send him a text today0 -

That just about clinches it then, with a villa like that, you wouldnt just use a cheap classified ad on ebay to sell holidays!
Im surprised the real owner has not got back to you, unless he has simply not got your messages.....or he thinks you are a scammer!:rotfl:0 -
The real owner has now got in touch....it was a bogus offer, as I suspected...we are proceeding.:D0
