Vanquis 9 mths old/What next? ANOTHER UPDATE

Better than Vanquis, Aqua, and Cap One Classic who never reduce the rate though, isn't it?
And the poster is on the old cycle which yeilds 19.9% within 16 months, not three years
Oh apologies 2 and a half years, yeah but most people who have or had vanquis, aqua, cap 1 classic, have got rid of these within a year and a half because of their credit profile have improved and applied elsewhere,i would like to know how many people will actually wait for there progress to drop in apr to 18 or even 24%apr.0

People with CCJs or Bankruptcy orders showing on their credit file won't see an improvement for five years most of the time, so having the opportunity to get at a prime rate within 16~36 months is an excellent proposition.
From our perspective, as sub primers, the progress is an appealing card. You wouldn't understand that as you aren't sub prime.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Well they do target the same market as Vanquis and Aqua do so I put it in the same boat as those cards - I myself was considering trying for a Progress card but with LTSB lifting my CPD I think I'll wait it out until they offer me one
Don't want to ruin my chances with more searches and a new account! Probably get the CPD right back again if I apply Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48 Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

            Quick update
Tesco was a no back last year
 but now credit history clear
Have just been accepted for a Barclaycard Simplicity at 9.9%apr woo hoo
So the Vanquis can now go no point in having their Gold card with a £2250 limit with a stupidly high 39.9% apr.0
